try putting your graphics on very low. if you are still getting lag, not much to do :( . cel already got rid of the cloud waves caused by darkness and the yellow glow of all leaderships on that map

yeah i guess you're right. but i'm playing with very low graphics and the game is (calculated) 15 times slower than normal with sometimes there isn't anything happening at all.

yeah i know you don't want to do anything about the evil campaingn but since you are having a very large army of evil the only thing you have to do is give orders, attack and watch what is happening.
perhaps only add more units and that's all.
but it's your decision after all.

this is a small update from the last posts to this moment.

i found out that when i put my archers up to the second level i don't have that much lag.
by the way it was very cool.

seems to be i killed 7632 enemy units.

when you put archers up the second level no enemy unit will break through around 2 soldier battalions.
don't you think that's just weird??

I've already made that point many a time... Which is why the evil catapults need a HUGE range boost...

cant believe I've never thought of that. It seems so obvious now. Oh well, I beat Osgilliath the other day on medium quite easily, so I'm not far off MT.

Like I said before, what's the fun in playing the mission in a way where you can't lose?

if you think about it, I dont think it would be possible for a catapult in front of minas tirith. If you notice in the moive, they hit the support, not the trebs themselves. they would have to be higher in the air to acutally hit it. if they could just smack it, it would be so evil :evgr:

p.s. OMG!! new smilies :crazed: :evgr: :trev: :cow: :xx: :sad2: :scars: :omg: :w00t: :evgr: :p :aarock:

My game crashed after I summoned Rohan. Good job I just saved it a few seconds before. The map is great fun, the balance swings a lot. I had full CP, all upgraded then lost the majority of archers and about 2/3 of my army but I managed to destroy the towers and by the time Grond broke through I was back up to full strength. Speaking of Grond, it took him ages to start attacking the gate. He kept moving around the gate turning around etc, was there ages.

Yes... There's something very wrong with Grond in the latest version. Going to have to look into it, but I don't remember what it was I was working on when the problem arose.

I'll have a look at the scripting later whilst doing my RA homework. There's either an error with the scripts, or Grond doesnt like having to get past all the rams and trolls by the gate (which I ignore because they do fuck all)

yeah,

grond just waits till the trolls and rams are gone, but after a while they just start ramming it.
but for me it took around six hours to play the mission.

btw, the entire mod lags for me, but minas tirith was just extreme.
did both campaigns now.

I need a new computer as well.... not because of BFME, I've always been able to play that very high... but because I can't play the newest games on high!! or very high!!! it costs around 3500,- Norwegians, wich is.... 437 euro circa ^_^ I'll have to sell my Xbox 360 for that, but I don't mind.... I only play CoD3 on it anyways :p
