Great idea to add in some old relicts. Reminds me of TS, where you could see some of the old buildings.

I spotted a parking lot full of Humvees in the GDI campaign.

That is actually pretty cool...reminds me of the old abandoned CNC1 factory stuffs from TS and FS. I would like to see moving usable versions tho. :p

TBH, we could take the model and reanimate it. I did that with a dead skeleton model from an ogre in BFME. There is this animation where the orgre fades and the skeleton was left for a few seconds, than I isolated the model and morked on making it an undead unit.

I figure I'd have to look at the model and see what's left of it.

I found an old nod powerplant in italy.

But i was thinking the same thing as you hostile, we could take this model... cut it in half mirror it and make adjustments.

EDIT: Here are some more ruins, of them looks good engough to have the top put back on, this could turn out to be a really easy job to get done

That one on the right looks more like an AT-ST out of Star Wars, and is it just me, or does that left hand one look slightly more like one of the BF2142 walkers than a Titan.

My question is: Why do away with the MK2? It rocks face.

Because apparantly tanks rock face even better, in EA's eyes.

EA kinda made GDI boring in C&C3, I must admit. Their tech is basically modern tech with some advanced weaponry and armor. Tanks, turrets, and jets. Meanwhile, we have the Scrin which has... Ion Storms and crazy crap, and Nod with their giant doom mech (looks like doom), Tiberium infusion, lasers, stealth, and style all the way.

I can't believe what I'm hearing! The Mammoth MkII was just a stupid uber unit designed to give TS a more future feel, and to give the GDI a bigger presence on the battlefield  The regular Mammoth Tank would have sufficed

...but I love my future feel stuff, to be honest. It's a big attraction I have to C&C, actually, and why CABAL is possibly my favorite character (if not my favorite villain out of everything I've seen/read).

Blah, sorry for the topic change. >_>

I have a feeling that we are gonna see those units added in a expanion. EA is good about expansions, i mean all good games need them. Problem is what would nod get? Sub terrain transport+ Devils tongue? That seems fair ;)

Note: Rule of thumb.

Titan= Good! :grin:
Mammoth MkII= EVIL!!!!! :ninja: EA won't be stupid enough to re-introduce the MMKII, unless they are really, really desperate :thumbsupsmiley:

I share the opinion of Forsaken One. Wouldn't have found TS half as good without the futuristic feel (while still keeping most of the weapon systems conventional, just a railgun here and laser there).

And this is exactly what I'm certainly going to add once the SDK is out.

When I said 'future feel' what I meant was 'complete rip-off of Star Wars' :ninja: They are both massively scary four-legged attack walkers designed to do ridiculous damage :ninja:

I agree with TX here, for many reasons...Westwood ripped off Lucas and ILM's AT-AT Walker and gets praised for it when the thing can barely fend for itself ingame. Kirovs are more sensible....

I don't think they really ripped anything, they were just inspired. Otherwise every walker is ripping off Humans for standing on 2 legs!

Besides, walkers are usually lame.
