know what, if i saw it right in the movie's, the peasants where drafted WITH chainmail armor
if you could chanche the skins of the drafted peasants.
I may, but it's really no priority or anything. They already gain helmets, shields, and swords from being drafted, and I kind of still want to imply that they aren't really soldiers

peasants become drafted with armor then it looks more varieated. get it?
EDIT: i just down loaded the bfme mod sdk, this means i maybe can help you with my problem of being a "lots of askings SUCKER"

o.k. i can admit the still have to look like drafted peasants, but then we can simply make it happen that some

i personally think thjey look best as they are now
in actuality int he film all the archers and spear throwers and peasants all wore same armour - but if this mod made them all wear chainmail you wouldnt be able to see the difference when playing - the variation looks better and makes it easier in my opinion
(think the chainmail you did for the spear thrower models is awesome btw)

well i think the look very vulnerble!
one of these threads questioned about women peasants - can't find the thread now but - i do agree that women still shouldnt be in the main battle - what about if the women ones are takena way from the basic peasants and - with some varied skins and different weapons (ie the hammer, sword, or shield etc.) make a weaker women horde which stay in the glittering caves and comes out when broken through?
maybe eowyn can somehow have something to do with this... a skill of some sort
random idea =D

well, if you are going by the deleted scene from the movie that is not in the Extended Edition, the Uruk-Hai get into the mines, and Eowyn leads a group of Women to defend the older women and the children to get deeper into the mines and try to escape.
WHAT?!?!?!!?
i never saw that...but you say not on the extended edition?!!? thats silly

Hmm... I really like the women being in the peasant horde. It really spices them up and adds a lot more variation to it. Besides, you keep this up, and I just may add even more women to other hordes But seriously, I know from a lore standpoint, they are not mentioned to have fought but oh well. I'm taking things from the movie, the book, and my own imagination... so I'm not really concerned about that. Look at my avatar and sig and it'll tell you what I think about women
As for the thing adummy said, it was a scene that was scraped completely and all the info we got about it is a picture or two and some description about it

it is mentioned in the bonus discs of TTT: EE. PJ says he does still have footage of it because they didn't destroy any of the footage they didn't use. the scene will likely be included if they make a "Super Extended Edition" of the movies, which would be all the scenes that the filmed that does not change the story. Pace won't matter and the movies could be a few hours longWHAT?!?!?!!?

Loved the female peasants in BFME1. They looked so sweet charging into Uruks with their little saws
From a lore stand point, no. From a fun stand point, hell yeah. I'd go for fun over lore in this case (it is said of elves that the women are as valiant as the men...I see no reason why the guests should be any different).
