He was talking to misuitnotblack, not to you, Eldarion ;)
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

I think that the evil factions would be more likely to have a Ring hero, as Sauron and Saruman are the only 2 that know how to correctly use the One Ring, while the good factions would be more likely to have some kind of upgrades or boosts, and use it as more of a strategic tool.

Men of the South and Rhûn could get one of the Blue Wizards (Alatar/Pallando), and Wild could get the Balrog. Please don't say it's weird to see a balrog using the ring, but hey a balrog is a maiar!

Ya, I agree with Allathar, with:

Gondor: economic and militaristic boosts, with new units and buildings
Rohan: TBD
Arnor: TBD
Elves: Galadrial, Storm Queen
Dwarves: mining and armor boosts, with the moving fortress and other new units and buildings
Mordor: Sauron
Isengard: Saruman of Many Colors
Goblins: Durin's Bane (AKA Balrog)
Rhun: 1 of the 2 blue wizards (Alatar or Pallando)
MotS: The other blue wizard

Yeah that would ok but gondor and the dwarves are going to have to get some pretty good upgrades but this mithril mine thing sounds cool

And maybe rohan could get a new hero horde like some kind of super horse riders

But why should only evil have ring heroes, men, elves and dwarves also had the rings of power.

So i tnik it should be like this:

Gondor:Elendil
Rohan: Eorl the Young
Elves: Galadriel or Celebron(but i prefer Galadriel to be ring hero and Celebron to be normal hero)
Dwarves:Durin the Deathless
Mordor: Sauron
Isengard:maybe stronger saruman or some upgrades
Goblins:Balrog
Rhun:Alatar or Pallando
Men of the South: If this is refering to Harad i think it should be Herumor or Fuinur(Numenorian lords who rose to power amongst the Haradrim)

For ring hero of Gondor, It'd best be Gandalf. He obvioulsy didn't want the ring because he knew how he would come to be like Golum if he had it for too long. But, like with other mods/games, the "what if's" must be taken into consideration. For Isengard, the same thing. Saruman on magic steroids (make his attacks like saurons with staff, lots of good magic attacks).

Eorl was probably the most important king of Rohan, pretty much made it a nation I think (that or that was another Rohan king, but sure it was Eorl). Anyways, his acts are pretty much on par with Aragorn's in RotK.

Eorl the Young are the first King of Rohan, the one who 'made the nation'.

Gandalf wouldn't take the ring because he knew that even if he wanted to use it for good, it would eventually turn him evil, and he would become worse than Sauron :thumbsdownsmiley:
Gollum on the other hand, never used it for other things that to become invisible... He didn't embrace it's power :p

Gondor: Denethor, Gandalf or Aragorn
Rohan: Theoden, Radagast or Eorl the yound
Elves: Galadriel, Elrond, Gil-galad,
Dwarves: Dain, Thorin or Durin
Harad: one of the blue wizards
Rhun: the other blue wizard

Isengard: Saruman
Goblins: the great goblin, the Balrog or Sauron
Minas Morgul: the Witch King or Sauron

them's my ideas....but only upgrades for some factions sounds good too.

I think economy upgrades and new buildings/units when you have ring is a great idea.

However with ring heroes when they die you lose the ring, which means you have to be careful with how you use them in attack. Uprgardes however allow the ring to stay safe in your fortress

What about if the good factions see Gollum as a ringbearer and the evil factions see Frodo as a ringbearer? But they're still like Gollum but they have diffrent shapes depends on wich side you play?

And I think LI first post is the best selection of Ring heroes, beacouse I love Smaug to be a Ring Hero! ^_^

Great idea for Gondor...Denethor...and for Dwarves Durin, as he is one of the seven first Dwarves he's a great Ring Hero I think. For Elves and Rohan Gil-galad an Eorl are dead so that can be an idea to call them back to life...
The race of Men is failing, the blood of Númenor is all but spent – its pride and dignity forgotten… It is because of Men the Ring survives.

2 gandalfs?

That is not special, and Gandalf already had a ring of power, he would never touch Saurons ring.

Actually, Blue Wizards means:
>Pallando (Romestamo) would look like Gandalf, only he'd have a black staff, blue clothes, blue hat, and he'd have the create-a-hero wizard voice/lines
>Alatar (Morinehtar) would look like Saruman, only he'd have blue clothes, gray hair, and he'd have the same voice and lines as explained above.
