any1 else noticed that its really easy 2 get a lot of heros 2 lvl 4, but after that its really really hard?

i thinks its with all the heroes except the hobbits who gain levels at a very high rate

Yeah, I noticed that with many heroes they easily lvl up to 4 by killing some wargs and after that it's just a pain in the a$$ to lvl them.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

ghhhh it can be so frustrating sometimes how thers so many places, threads and etc. to report bugs at, although im not sure if they are bugs, i've provided several instances where i thought somethign was a little off, but always at faction specific places, as i tend to like strictly categorized way of things better :ninja:

i think this is pretty well catagorized tbh xingdao fan is doing a great job of keeping it organised (when his computer will load the post :p )
- basically spointz this topic is for bugs and glitches that xingdao fan can add to rob's 'to do list' and the faction specific is more for general discussion/ideas and/or faction balance issues

talking of bugs and glitches i noticed that all the nazgul are free to revive except the horseman (cnt remember his first name begins with 'u') - he costs 500.
also when units are combined before an upgrade has finished equiping it goes back to unequipped instead of continuing to purchase the upgrade

not sure if it ever happened 2 any1 else, but wen i bilt a rohan entmoot once, it got destroyed immediately as soon as it was bilt (and no it wasnt attacked). the summoned ents did not show up either (bc the moot was destroyed first).

When ROhan Royal guards regenerate(on foot), there are at least 20 instead of 6 after the regenaration, it's a fun bug though.:p

About the heroes, I returned the leveling up/respawning of heroes back to BFME2 1.06 where you level up to 4 and then it takes longer to 7 and then a little longer to 10. I've been debating whether to keep this or mix it up a little, what are your opnions on this? I'll be keeping the respawning method where it takes longer and costs more the higher the level.

As for reporting bugs, I'm trying to gather all of the bugs from the other threads to compile a the top of this one so that I can fix as many bugs as possible. While you can post bugs in the other threads, they are also mostly used for discussing how the factions function and their future while this is 100% bugs and balance.

The royal guard regeneration has been fixed, that was a crazy bug to narrow down.

I have not heard of the ent moot, but if you have not seen a really damage rhun barracks, it's the best thing I've seen for a bug and it will be one with the next release.

I think you should mix it up a little. by the by, when playing as the elves; upgraded Mirkwood archers cannot combine with unupgraded ones, however in reverse this is not true... Haldir's Golden Arrow tooltip says lvl 7, but he cannpt use it until lvl 9; Lindon Horse Archers seem on the weak side, Elladan and Elrohir are black, all black, like they war dipped in tar, except for their armor and quivers. also on fords of isen; because all enemy troop builds have to be destroyed, you can capture both castles, when i captured the other, the gate had a problem...like a not there kinda problem.
Another elven bug: at the Argonath, to rider banner carriers, were created, like all individual unit bugs, except 1)the destroyed the enemy fortress and 2)they died.

dont keep it like it is!!! i hate it how they get stuck at lvl 7. i would say go back to bfm1 style, where they pretty much just always have the same difficulty leveling up.

well i persally agree with the fact that lvling heroes should get harder and harder as you lvl up, but it is still annoying to have the lvling system reconfigured at specifically lvl 4 and 7. I mean couldn't u just minimally change the difficulty of lvling up with every lvl ur hero gets? :p

That's what I kinda figured everyone would say :p I'll let the discussion go on, but start planning how I want to change the leveling system for the heroes. Would you say the overall experience required to get to level 10 is too high? I was first thinking of just going through and making the change between each level a little smoother, where each level takes more xp to get to but the rise is even.

So again, the question I was to add is getting to level 10 just about right? Should I do some things similar to BFME1 (where some hereos start off at a higher level like Aragorn, Gandalf, Saruman, witchking, etc.)?

What would you like to see.

definitely i would not want certain heroes to start off at a higher lvl. And personally i think you should make it harder for certain totally OP heroes to lvl up. Like Kharsh for example - he zooomed right up to lvl 10 in one match, all though i guess that is somewhat reasonable when you take count of how many batallions and how quickly he owns them solo.

yeah i think rise should be even. i also agree that you should either do things similar to bfme with aragorn gandalf and others, or lower their costs, cause gandalf isnt worth 6k starting at lvl 1.
