Auto auction actually but looking at the Lease lot (where I work), you'd think scrap yard. I'm a condition reporter... I tally up damage and note features on vehicles that come in. These are just cars that are on the tow fence (appropriate name), which is what I'm doing most of the time. I get the fun luxury of doing all the cars that don't run; be it mechanical or collision, they're on the fence but it's usually just the car has no keys.

Yes... fun shit. Though it is nice when I can do cars that run. Now and then we get to drive awesome cars.

That's not really what you own, is it, if you have to 'do it up and repair it' before it can be resold or even used.
What you probably own is a wreck, probably with an engine that has only two of the twelve valves working. 'Old type' must be an understatement.

Fen, don't encourage him. A 1.4 Civic Sport could probably outrun that fuckin thing. Besides, the size of the engine doesn't directly correlate to the amount of power it produces. Also note that pickups are tuned for torque not speed. Regardless, yes, you probably could eat him alive as that thing must have been haemorrhaging horsepower for years. Assuming it even actually HAS a working engine and not just a badge on the back saying what it used to have (or what the previous owner(s) wanted people to think they'd got)
