Hi I've posted a small bit here but I'd like to join, if you'll have me. I had a look at some of the stuff you have planned (or have done) and I must say it looks amazing, especially the Isengard improvements. Ithron posted at Istari Productions looking for mappers and I'd like to join. I understand a lot of mods need mappers.
I also want to learn some modding, modelling and coding but I know only a little map.ini, which is different. But I'd like the help by giving maps, though you will have to tell me about history of the design because I haven't read the Silimarillion, or whatever it is called.
Examples of earlier work:
Manor of the Eorl is one I did for mevault map contest, though joker has yet to judge them. Rohan themed fortress map. 5th in Mevault's Top Witch-King maps.
Vaults of Erebus is a skirmish map, putting units in the centre gains you a large trickle of money. Someone has used this as screenshots for example of Pallandro's powers in this site.
Misty Mountains Fortress is a snowy fortress.
I am doing at the moment an elven fortress, which should be completed soon but need a name.
I am also doing a cah wave map of Misty Mountains Fortress, which should be very hard to win. Planned maybe an ini override for heroes and powers.
I also have got a monumental map planned which involves Dark Elves attacking High Elves, with 2 huge fortress 2vs2. Elven Civil War. You don't have to read all the comments but have a look at the unit list some way down, it shows what I have planned.

Oh my... Puppeteer wants to join the WotE mapping team!!! My campaign dreams can be fulfilled now! I would be most happy if you could be the WotE mapper, that would be awesome
I can PM you with the password for the staff forums where you can see our latest missin ideas. There you can also meet jimmyman, our second mapper and the rest of the team
Your work is amazing, I'm glad you want to help me with Wars of the East. I can tell you this mod is going to be spectacular, and with a unique singleplayer campaign, it will be even better
And by the way, I can handle all the map.ini/.str stuff if you want.

Thanks guys, I'm sure I'll have enough time for the See mod as well. I have always wanted to be part of a mod.
And yeah please could you send me the password, I want to see what campaign you have planned.

"Well, I can't argue with that - modding IS hard. But what would have become of games like Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Dungeon Siege, Half-Life 1-2, Neverwinter Nights and BfME 1-2 if we, modders, weren't there ? They would have long been forgotten. Modding is hard, but it's an honorable thing." - MorrisB
