Nobody said it was dead? Do not come to conclusions so fast.

Just my two cents, but it seems a tad exaggerating to call it a mod. It is an idea, not a mod.

However good the idea might be, it is not a mod. This is not an insult, I have no awareness of the quality of this idea and can't comment on that.

OK, but how is it a idea? Some art, and coding are already being done. models are currently getting worked on. Maps are in progress. So as of now with all those the mod will be 10% done.

Then good for you, glad it is being worked on :good:

But i came up with that conclusion because the public has only seen idea and plans, and intentions to borrow a model from Halbarad.

Maps and palentir art are extras though. You should kid yourself into saying 10% is done. For a mod like this, the important stuff is new units and heroes in game. Modelled, skinned, coded. We want you to do well, but we don't want you going nowhere fast for several months, relying on people joining the mod.

I just want this mod to be done. I am not the mod leader just a 2D artist, and supporter of this mod. My cousin, and I really want to play this so I hope it gets done. Eldarion25 is the mod leader, but is currently busy with school.

Halbarads model will be used, However we need two models in-game first.. Plus it would be original, also Feudal Knights Spartan model. I was hoping to use the Rome gods of war buildings. Some new things will come.

So I will stop arguing back then. I just do not want to see this mod die.... :(

2 contributed models. Big woop...

For a mod to die, it first has to live. Just start learning how to mod instead of coming with excuses.

Yeah well, this place is meant to make real modders. In theory they're right at the source of the solution to their problem.

Learn... not hard atall really... just take small bites... import a model.. edit.. try binding aso... keep it easy at first... dont go scratch or anything :good: ... and dont give up... i know the feeling of when you learn and it gets confusing and you just give up..(thats me coding... :) ) Try making a Peltast out of a rohan peasant... import the peasant... get rid of the sword... shape the shield... import eomers spear...(make a basic texture) import haradrim lancers skeleton... bind it... do your coding and done...

i just think Peltast is best for learning...
all the above(Besides textureing) can be done with the help of this - http://nickthemenace...et/tutorial.htm

now get busy!

and another thing...

when you learn to model... you've got real skills ;)

If you'd started to learn some real modding earlier, the mod might've been at 10-15% now... Once you've gotten one modeller on your team, he can model, instead of ask others for models.. Of course, he should also learn skinning, as one with skills in both is a very good thing to have.

So to say, you've got larger chances if your 1 coder and 1 modeller\skinner... of course, I don't know how many you are, but I guess 2? or maybe 3... still, your coder should focus on gettin' good at coding for now, and the others, whenever 2d artist or mapper, should try out modelling :good:

There's nothing like the thrill of your first model seen in-game... :)

are you going to add like a special slow-motion high-damage power to the spartan heroes? that would be cool
