hello most of you dont know but wars of the east brings in many more maps available

(screenshots later)

(all have been done by me)

firstly i have made or bring in some ea hidden maps

please note all of these maps have been updated since the staff beta came out last week i worked hard on them to get this done

first of all the first 4 new maps sneak peeks are (all of them are ea's but remade by me)

- shelobs lair (yes it includes cirith ungol) a 1v1 ideal for a wotr map
- white mountains (the advanced tutorial map :p)
- the blue mountains (the mission from ea bfme2 good campaign_
- ithilien (a bfme1 campaign map)
- High Pass (the campaign map hopefully replacing the dull skirmish map)

Honestly man I don't think its a bit accomplishment converting the EA maps, and it doesn't have anything to do with Rhun or Dorwinion.

i dont care your not part of the mod, and it allows more selection of the maps as i am doing the mapping and also i have made quite alot of rhun maps but there the secret ones. and also i guess people would like to play shelobs lair and stuff and yes i have edited to be more fun and better and who said you run the mod if ithron wants them then he can as well as any other mod that asks wote. anyway here is some of my made maps still in changing

I think they're awesome; any chance of a moria map? Not sure if it can be effectively translated into a skirmish map, but possibly it could be a unique map which special things inside...

Maybe if you light a speific fire or beacon loads of goblins will come to your aid, or make lots of destructable tunnels to collapse on enemies or cut off escapes. You could loads of neutral goblins everywhere; we could have the watcher too.

Would be fun and different :) (Also I'm sure some sort of Balrog could be thrown in).

I didn't think it was a big accomplishment to spell the word "big" wrong, but there we go. Comments like this serve no purpose; they're good maps, so if you want to help Elvenfury why not suggest ideas for other maps. Don't criticise those who try without reason; it says a lot more about you then them :good:

anyway moria is acutally a massive map, the black stuff you see if a thing called parkinglot texture most of it will be a flat mountain covered in black for my knowledge they did this for shelobs lair as well

you can convert and rebuild moria, just extract it and rebuild it^^

i would make no camps or outposts as camps i would make just lots owned by a plyr and just for AI a camp/outpost

Wrong actually. The BFME 1 Moria map had a script that made the terrain invisible.

good news to you sheephoof moria can easily be turned into a skirmish map but it requires a long time for me so expect it to come soon

not trying to be offensive, but a criticism of the textures is it looks like a load of worms or something, as in you have your base texture which is fine, then one over the top and thats it, you should be mixing more textures and blending them, just looking at the map for me looks wierd. However the mountain part is fine and woudl actually work pretty well in a skirmish map to make it fun to gain control of it.

me cant work on it anymore because i am just releasing one of my mods to finish it to work on my grandaddy mod,
