As far as I'm informed, no country has ever reached "real communism" (by which I mean Marxism)...

Real communism can never be achieved, the human race cannot work as a hive, some people are always there to take advantage of the system.

"Communism" therefore becomes synonymous with dictatorship to me. They use the lulls of equality to get themselves into power then they will do everything in the power given to them to maintain that indefinitely.

Sadly Spence is right. Morally it'b be noble and just for the world to invade N Korea and solve it but China would never allow it. China could solve this quick by demanding some reforms or shutting off the BIG valve. They don't care TBH. I'd have to say I can't think of a worse place in the world to live in right now.

I also think Spence's post in that topic does a pretty good job at explaining how all the points that you posted are just propagandist doublespeak, amirite?

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Yes, i and others did overreacted a bit. but you to admit, that way of life is not right, even if it is their choice. sometimes another country has to change it for their own good.

Except forcing that change by killing them all instead isn't quite the way to go. If the muslims suddenly decided that they are going to "liberate" the western world from their barbaric ways (as they do in fact believe that the western world is barbaric) it wouldn't be one iota better than what is happening right now in Iraq, Afghanistan and possibly Iran soon.

Nobody can change a nation that doesn't want to change, unless they plan on exterminating the lot of them. In which case they are no better than Hitler and his final solution.

nothing new about assassinating and backstabbing people, but you rarely have foreign forces take out the head man. its easier to try to take out his close companions. the problem is that NK is a very nice little fortress of old friends that rarely add new members to their power-pyramid.

basically, you don't assassinate bosses of such countries because that will just cause some other loonie to take over. it has to be done by the people themselves and there has to be a will to change. thats not really a thing you will see in NK.

consider what assassinating Bush would cause for the presidential elections. mr huckelberry or whatever his name is would prolly win straight away, or John mcCain could win and then just continue with what bush has done for the last 8 years. that would be nice wouldnt it?

Killing Kim or having China demand reforms isn't going to do anything. Everything in that country is so screwed up that it'll take decades for them to really get back on their feet. They have basically no infrastructure, no agriculture, no NGO's that I know of to help fix the problem...

What's dumb is that the rest of the world seems to think that dumbing a couple million tons of fuel oil into the country is actually going to help the people in the DPRK. All that does is let Kim maintain his rule a little while longer.

And even if/when Kim loses power, what happens then? Millions of NK refugees would just flee the country into SK or China. That's bad for all three countries.
