Yeah, Cag attacked one of the basic land battleships, not the Land Carrier, which we only saw in Destiny.

Oh sorry about that well it was a Lesseps class not a Compton class.

Well guys if the theory of the Gundam Legacy team is right about the naval force, here would be the possible line ups:

OMNI Enforcer
Ships:
Danilov Cruiser Class: main naval force of the Alliance, there are two variation of this, the Arkansas and the Des Moines. Has enough armaments, and it's main role is to escort the Tarawa Class.
Fraser Destroyer Class: small ship of the alliance, with minimum armaments. Main purpose to to escort the Tarawa Class unit.
Tarawa Carrier Class: Flagship of the OMNI Enforcer Naval Force, has weak armaments, but coupes up with its carrying capacity. Upon level 4, it upgrades to a Splengler class, though their are just minor alteration, it becomes much tougher in the field.
Level 1 Station: carries Spearhead
Level 2 Station: carries Strike Dagger & Deep Forbidden
Level 3 Station: carries Dagger & Deep Forbidden
Level 4 Station: carries Dagger L. & Deep Forbidden
Level 5 Station: carries Windam & Deep Forbidden Vortex

Mobile Units:
Deep Forbidden- main naval force of the Alliance stronger than Goohns. Will be available on level two station, high speed model.
Deep Forbidden Vortex- limited model, armed with Trans-phase armor and Geshmedig Panzer, this unit can stand alone in naval battles and destroy large number of units before going down, very expensive and long to build.

ZAFT Forces
Ships:
Vosgulov class- submarin unit and is the only naval unit of the ZAFT Forces. Offering enough armaments and a large carrying capacity. Can also launch air units.
Level 1 Station: carries Goohn & Dinn
Level 2 Station: carries Goohn & Dinn
Level 3 Station: carries Goohn & Dinn
Level 4 Station: carries ASH & BABI
Level 5 Station: carries ASH & BABI

Mobile Units:
Goohn: main mobile unit of the ZAFT Forces, offering enough armaments.
Level 4 Station: ASH
Level 5 Station: ASH

I think for naval purposes the elucid should also be included. Other than that it looks pretty good.

That aside, one of the things ive never had explained was some seemingly redundant comments that the lesseps and petire, and supposedly then the compton, can use their scale drives to traverse water surfaces. Anyone have any idea on this?

Oh yeah I forgot the Euclid and also the Zamzah-zah. Those are land cruisers and carriers man, even if it can may be in just the shore but never in the sea, for it was never intende for naval transportation. Guys do you think Orb units must be aligned with OMNI Enforcers for in GSD they join to support Lord Djibril along withe the other Logos.

Orb should be an independent force just as is usually is, but un Destiny storymode EAF gains Orb as time goes on and stuff. and then looses them.


Wrong, the Lesseps Class was seen traversin Water using its scales system. Though not in the main show, but it was seen in the Seed Astray Manga. Unfortunately I cannot find a good picture of it.


btw, actually found a picture of the Compton class lol.

Alright may be the Lesseps and the Petrie can hover on seas, but the Compton can't for from the body structure it has tank like legs to move it. Also may be the Orb Forces with OMNI Enforcers are much weaker than the independent ones, for they lost their enthusiasm when Cagali disappeared and a new family took over Orb.

I wont get into the ORB argument. But for the compton, it actually has the scale system as well. It uses its treads system for when its not on sand, snow or other terrain that the scale system is designed for. Both the lesseps and petrie have this characteristic as well. Whether it can skim water though, despite the scale system, is another matter.

For physics sake, I dont think the Compton class will be able to support itself in water, even with the scales system. not enough surface area to hold that much mass.


Lesseps class had skimed water before. and it was pretty funny because that was the first time I saw a land battleship on water.

True its bad to see a huge carrier and cruiser like those in sea.

Guys how do you think OMNI Enforcer will acquire reinforces or sending more units in to EAW game? We all know the ZAFT will have the drop pods from space style, but how would the Earth Forces send more forces? How about through a large plane that will pass by and drop the reinforces such as what happened in the Battle of Orb, where EA Forces sent Strike Daggers through air.

Also, they will have ship-based carriers which can send out reinforcements.

Like what in the series there was no OMNI Enforcer class to send reinforces only through plane and paradrop. Atleast the ZAFT have the drop pods in space to send more troops.

EAF had factories, also Carriers that sail around dropping off troops.

Alright the OMNI Enforcer have different ways of sending troops. Well guys I have a new suggestion on the units

OMNI Enforcer
Mobile units:
Spearhead: main Level 1 air unit of the Alliance, offers no superiority to any unit.
Level 2: Skygrasper
Level 3: Aile Striker Skygrasper
Level 4: Jet Striker Dagger L.
Level 5: Jet Striker Windam



Hyperion G: will be available on level 5 station. A limited production model, offers a full power to all units, has a powerful energy shield, and armaments. Special skill is to activate energy shield, which will turn it invulnerable for a short period of time, but slow it in terms of movement.

ZAFT Forces
Mobile units:



DOM Trooper Orig. Specs- will be available to level 5 station, counterpart of the Hyperion G of Alliance. Not like the Hyperion G, the DOM Trooper is a high speed and durable unit. Special skill will be its Jet Stream Attack, which increases it movement and firepower.

Do you mean that the unit magically pops up there or that a research option appears to research that certain suit?

it'll probably be a level research thing.

I think there I had all the tech levels laid out some where.... AH I do still have it. LET ME KNOW IF I'M MISSING ANYTHING. (and this is the basic tech tree so it dosent include any special units)

Just some thoughts, since the Dom isnt a special trooper, could the cerebus bucue come in there somewhere too? Somehow OMNI seems quite powered up late destiny, with 3 MA's and Destroy.
