Crossbows are said to be immune to arrows ! no they are not the building tool tip is just a lot of talk no reall efect.
"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world."
"From this seal shall arise the doom of men,"
"who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our fire as their own."
"Blindly they build their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit."
"Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control."
"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."

"Tremble, mortals, and despair! Doom has come to this world!"

Then the tool tip should be changed, not the unit.

i find this hilarious because you guys are trying to convince the isengard master that the faction needs changing! lol i would think he is fine with isen the way they are! i dont use isen much, but i dont find that they need changing either; their infantry is strong and worth the cost, as is their cavalry. ballistas might benefit from a damage increase but other that that they are fine for me

Yeah, the clan stedding should be cheaper and the Wildmen should be the spammable unit. For what it takes to get axethrowers it might be good for them to have heavy armor. I've been toying with ideas on how the Wildmen should get HA. I've thought about them maybe only able to get them after level 5, or something in combination with Wulf.

As far as the basic infantry, for a horde they should be one of the strongest if not the strongest all around infantry. Elves would be stronger in attack and dwarves stronger in defence/health. That's just how I feel. 1 Uruk horde should be able to take out any other horde fully upgraded. Elves & Dwarves in the right situation should be able to win if they have the upper-hand unupgraded.

EDIT: I probably should state this somewhere - What settings are we balancing. My goal is to balance the 1000 Starting Resources for now. With Ring Heroes when the system is defined, and with CaH at the end. That said, I don't want to break the balance at 4000 starting resources. 4000 should just be a completely different tactic, and no faction should have anything immediately overpowered that cannot be countered. I love both games. The only thing I don't like playing - 4000 with CaH. It just all becomes a single unit game that is not complex in the slightest.

ahh i see,

ehm one more thing, right now the good unit batalions ( elf dwarfes ) get out in like 5 units in a horde, and they still are able to kill 8 uruks . . . :wink_new:

its something diferent if uruks are combined in one bigger battalion and the oposing force ( elfs, or dwarfes ) are combined in one bigger ( in Rotwk, normal ) batalion

do you mean 8 battallions of uruks or just 8 uruk units?
if it is 8 individual uruks, id say its about right, otherwise is there any upgrading or fighting back going on?

no no, not 8 batalions :thumbsupsmiley: that would be pretty messy :crazed:

i mean 8 units in one battalion ( basic batalion that pops out from uruk pit )

what i meant was that, the elfs and dwarfes pop out in 5 unit horde size, and uruks pop out at 8. Now full upgrade them ( elfs, dwarfes and uruks, soo all ). and let them fight. ( not all at once )

uruks - elfs
uruks - dwarfes

soo to say what i ment, if 5 full upgraded dwarfes can kill 8 full upgraded uruks, than i dont like it, i think it should end with the wictory of uruks like - 1 or 2 half dead uruks standing.

same with uruks against elfes. After all dwarfes/elfs can slice gondor arnor rohan and even mote basic infantry like weed ( not even mentioning goblins and mordor ) at 1 on 1 fights, soo what i want to say is : Uruks should be able to face those wretched beasts ( elfs dwarfes ) and be able to withstand or even wint such fight ( 1 on 1 ).

I hope i explained it well and you understand better becouse, i dont know how to say it better ( no ideas, im dried up, too hard day in school )

I think that the Elves should be as strong or stronger than Uruks. The Eldar were stronger than the average man, if I recall correctly, and therefore should be able to take down most enemies. In my opinion, the small, elite hordes for Dwarves, Elves, and Gondor should be kept (excluding Rohan because they had only the King's Guard for infantry).
I'm creeping, not gone.

i was not speaking about uruks ws elite infantry, but uruks against basic units ( yeh, coz basic dwarfes are strong as half elite )

and i dont know what Eldar you mean, but Eldar can newer defeath a space marine of the Imperium ( For the Emperor !!! )
and i you dont believe me, just send those units in fight ( space marine heavy infantry, eldar infantry, thats says enough for itself ). If you didnt mean " this " eldar then nvm that line before
