Here are my ideas for units (just basic concepts):
- Hobbit Farmers (basic swordsmen, can also throw rocks; great horde size)
- Hobbit Pitchforkers (basic spearmen, no Porcupine Formation; great horde size)
- Hobbit Hunters (basic archers; can stealth)
- Hobbit Pony Riders (basic cavalry)
- Guard Dogs (fast scouts/swordsmen; can see stealthed units)
- Bree Watchmen (mid-game spearmen)
- Woody End Watchers (mid-game archers; can stealth)*
- Hobbit Shiriffs (mid-game swordsmen; toggle between rock and sword)
- Dunedain Rangers (late-game archers; can stealth)
- Dunedain Riders (late-game cavalry; small horde size, but strong units)
- Thane's Men (Hero Horde; can become invulnerable for a short time)
- Fireworks Group (basic siege unit)**
- Firework Shooter (late-game siege unit)
*wandering Elves.
**a few hobbits carrying small firework rockets; can fire faster than other siege units, but have smaller range and damage.
Spellbook ideas:
Level 1:
- First Aid (Heal)
- Call to Arms (Rallying Call)
- Dunedain Sentinel (an invisible Dunedain Sentinel will be placed on the selected location; it can't attack, but can see stealthed enemies and has great vision)
Level 2:
- Rock Shower (Arrow Volley)
- Pipeweed Pause (selected area will be shrouded in... pipeweed smoke ; units within the shroud CAN'T MOVE OR ATTACK, no matter that they are enemies or friends; perfect for disabling enemy archers...)
- Rich Harvest (increases the selected resource building's income rate to 300%; pernament effect)
- Aid From Bree (summons 3 battalions of Bree Watchmen)
Level 3:
- Rocket Rain (Barrage)
- Call of Fangorn (summons Treebeard along with 2 Ents)
- Summon Goldberry (summons Goldberry, Tom Bombadil's wife; she can provide extremly good Leadership and Heal bonuses)
Level 4:
- Firework Dragon (Dragon Assault)
- For the Shire ! (selected units become invulnerable for a moderate amount of time)
Fortress expansions and upgrades:
First, let's call it as "Thane's House" or such, okay ? Well, then...
Expansions:
- Secret Tunnel (connects Fortresses and <dunno what other building yet> via a tunnel network)
- Lookout Tower (Arrow Tower)
- Firework Bunker (shoots rockets)
- Medic's Tent (heals garrisoned units)
Upgrades:
- Reinforced Walls (makes the Fortress stronger)
- Fire Arrows (increases damage of Arrow Towers)
- War Council Room (reduces cost of all units depending on the number of Fortresses - 5% per fortress, max. of -25% unit cost)
- Fireing Sites (equips the Fortress with 4 rocket towers; when ordered, they launch rockets around the fortress, damaging enemies close to it)
- Banners of the Shire (provides Leadership to nearby units; also reduces cost of workers and Heroes by -20%)
Dunno what should be the final fortress upgrade, sorry, maybe later
That's all for now, I hope you'll find it useful.

"Well, I can't argue with that - modding IS hard. But what would have become of games like Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Dungeon Siege, Half-Life 1-2, Neverwinter Nights and BfME 1-2 if we, modders, weren't there ? They would have long been forgotten. Modding is hard, but it's an honorable thing." - MorrisB

One thing, though: DON'T USE "quote" SO MUCH ! This way, you create unneccesarily long posts for no real reason
