Okay, I'm building a pc, and I have my mind set on an AMD Phenom processor. I've been doing extensive research and I'm still not quite sure how I should cool the bugger. Am I right in thinking that it will throw out too much heat for even a decent Zalman CNPS9500 to remove? I'm starting to think that I'll have to use water cooling.
I'll list what I intend to buy below:
Motherboard
Processor
RAM
Graphics Card
HDD
And an assortment of other things... It's just the cooling that has me concerned.
I'll probably order the thing and the motherboard tonight or tomorrow, they've both just dropped around £5 each in price. Get 'em whilst they're cheap!

The Zalman should do fine. There's no reason you'd need to water cool. The AMD stock heatsink for it is an air cooling system, and I'm sure it's quite adequate.

I Myself have a Phenom AMD Quad Core.
i have just a 80mm and 120mm Case fan cooling it.
its around 55 Degree C when playing a game dosent need any Extensive cooling unless your planning to overclock it.
