Poll: Time for another roll-off, methinks

Should I do one of those roll-off things to decide whether people die?

I assume you guys remember the Player Death System, by which we would roll dice and through a complicated numerical system decide if anyone should die if placed in a dangerous situation?
If not, you can remind yourself of it here.
Anyways, I thought it was about time we had one again, and I was intending what's about to happen to be extremely dangerous and by no means easy. Thus, I propose a mass roll (which I'll do, so no worries about the workload for you guys :p) in which I'll roll for every single person currently in the convoy. This ought, statistically, to result in at least one death, though hopefully not too many.
So, that's the deal. Vote up, and go ahead and up your post count by telling us what you said :thumbsupsmiley:

Yep, the grandoise entrance I plan to have has around a 50/50 mortality rate, so something could happen. I'm in.

@ Nology, well if that's the case - how about I remove your survival bonus to represent the ridiculous danger you'd be in? (which I may regret 'cos I would be very sad if Titus died D: Still, dem's da roolz.)

I don't think we'll be doing it yet, at any rate. Wait until later on, when the group has expanded somewhat, and I seem to recall FZM saying he might look into reopening the possibility. But for the moment, we're all invincible! :shiftee:

IIRC we implemented this towards the end of the old Apoc because people were getting just too... uber.

As in, I'm driving a truck and I go off the side of the mountain. The truck flips a billion times, bursts into flames, explodes, falls a thousand feet straight down and lands smack dab in the middle of a horde of three billion infected. I then proceed to escape from the truck unscathed and kill all three billion infected. With my one shotgun. Which only has seven shots left in it.

We wanted to bring a bit of reality to it, in what was kinda a last-ditch effort to keep it afloat. I wouldn't mind seeing it back in a lil bit, however.
