No problem, if I get more inspiration I'll make a new message  .
And BTW:

Can Legolas jump on a shield and go down stairs shooting uruks?
Oh my! I do not think that will be in the mod... too much work for such a little scene.

Why not make somehow a little movie of it and paste it in the map (or cut it from the real one :D)

Still would require a lot of animation work. Plus, it's very difficult to make a little scripted scene right in the middle of the battle. Also, just showing a clip from the movie is what EA did. And since this topic is about what we hate about EA's HD, it probably will not work out to well. :p

Actually, the little movie clips in the Palantir was one of the parts I liked about their version... :p

There, now that sounds much better. :p

To amend that mistake (I was actually going to edit it) I must say that the only other thing I liked about it is that it's the first Helm's Deep I've ever played, so it gets points for nostalgia. :p

I suppose I could throw in a one-eyed unit as an easter egg. :p

its not something that i hate, but that im rather annoyed about that they didn't include :p

when you watch the tutorial on heroes, there is a scene with aragorn slaughtering a few uruks in helms deep, as well as gimli throwing his axe with two hands. On the subject of little scripted movie bits, i thought that if you could include maybe a bit of the killing on a scripted bridge bit with aragorn and gimli maybe? or at least consider using these two anims please  i've always wondered why it never appears in game...

thanks in advance,
Githiran.

That tutorial is sometimes ingame, but sometimes it is a movie. When it is a movie it is much easier to edit then when it's ingame :p . (those anims are a movie). Although it might be possible and that would be cool  .

Where is this said tutorial? I do not think I have ever seen it. By the sounds of it though, those animations are not in the game as I've never heard of them before. :p

Maybe in the bfme1 thing? The battle school, or whatever?

When you start your BFME 1 Game, you can use many buttons (first menu) and one of them is the 'Tutorial' button. When you select heroes there you see the anim I think ^_^ .

Ok, just viewed those two animations and both are not in the game unfortunately. :good: EA left out some things in their cinematic scenes. Nobody has them.

And I think it will get very hard to get those ingame :(. But you could make a short scene with the anim in it (when the player gets driven back to the keep :good:)

I hate the fact that the cinematics show a million archers but you start with 5  Also that I have to defend the keep thingy (the horse and rider on top of the obserlisk with no letters just a plain obserlisk with a rider on top. Also the command point restrictions.
Wait... what?

I hate that the bridge to the gate was so small and I used to think no one noticed it. But... when I did the mission in bfme 1 I relived classic movie moments, likesending Aragorn and Gimli to fight the uruks on the bridge,while.... my peasants repaired the gate with peasants :p , but their were some bad moments like when I forgot to close the gate and warg riders got in and Gimli was the only one fighting them :p
