Why not? With a sandy golden reskin they'd look great, especially with ed's new model...

The guys in the lore are not Half Trolls, they are like Half Trolls. I can show you the part in the books that talks about that if you'd like :p

Find the quote if you can just to satisfy yoda.

Here it is...
"and out of Far Harad black men like half trolls with white eyes and red tongues."
In the Return of the King, the Battle of Pelennor Fields

I don't know about you, but that says they were like Half Trolls (so Half Trolls must exist somewhere), and they had black skin, not golden skin.

actually that quote doesnt necessarily mean that half-trolls existed anywhere. im not saying that they didnt, but that quote is simply making a comparison and comparison's dont have to be between two real things. :thumbsupsmiley:

True, very true, but wouldn't it be cool :thumbsupsmiley: So what is the plan then? Drop Half Troll Marauders, Half Troll Swordsmen, Fire Drake Brood, and Spider Riders. Then add Brood Mothers (Giant Spider Hero Horde), Wolf.Warg Cave (any other ideas as for the name), Wolves/Wargs, Wolf/Warg Rifers, Cave/Moria Uruks (Uruk Hai with Goblin armor), and Goblin Chieftain Guard (needs a better name, they would use large spears and shields).

I don't think that the Wolf riders would be good. They look stupid. The wolf model isn't right for something to ride on.

Angmar Gundabad orcs already ride on wolves and the model works fine

It looks retarded though. A wolf isn't designed to ride on, so it doesn't have the correct animation in the game.

Wolf Riders do look retarded :thumbsupsmiley:

Mahud and Men of Far Harad are completely different, the Mahud are something LOTR Strategy Game made up. In my opinion the Men of Far Harad should be armed with some type of quadruple bladed mattock, either that or an African style spear and shield :)

...Or a machette. After all, Far Harad is a jungle. (right? I'm not just butchering the lore, am I? :))

(*cough* edit *cough*)

And they're kick-ass. :thumbsupsmiley:

Most of those killed by it were innocent victims of mass genocide. Yeah, sounds like a great reason to include it. Why don't we have ovens to cremate people. Those killed tons of people. It could be a resource building for evil. Sounds great to me. Why should we care about offending the memory of millions of murdered humans.

Common sense goes a lot further than unreasonable exaggeration... he was merely stating that the weapon was deadly. This was secondary to the fact that it was jungle, where a machete would seem appropiate. An "oven for mass genocide" is just not necessary.

The only reason that the Machete was deadly is that it was used on unarmed civilians. I might have gone a little bit overboard in my sarcasm and hyperbole, but to use that fact to support using the Machete is disgusting. Just say it is b/c of it being a jungle. That is killed that many in innocents makes it a reason not to include it.

Swords were used against unarmed civilians, and axes, and bows, and guns, and spears, and fists, and bombs, and fire, and nukes.

They all killed innocents. Should we not include them?

In almost all of the South American and Central American wars of independence the main militia weapon was the Machete, because it's all they had. Yet somehow they managed to defeat highly trained infantry, not unarmed civilians.
Ever here of the Cuban Machete charge during their war of independence under Carlos Manuel de Céspedes? It's actually pretty interesting :D
