Trust me, this game is AWESOME!!!!!!!!
PS, you control one guy and have about 150 others behind you, like a battlefront.

Company of Heroes had health bars, but the damage wasn't always linear and the same. For example, a sniper might hit someone in the leg and take off half the health bars, but if he scored a chest or head shot they were down and out. Period.I'd quite like to see an LotR game where people don't have health bars. I would quite like damage to be realistic. Does anyone remember how, in Starcraft, when your people got injured bits of them got more injured first? Like that, except that it would be serious and not just for effect. If you get shot in the leg, you are injured and probably can't walk. If someone slices your arm off, you're losing a hell of a lot of blood and no longer have your sword/shield. If you get a sword to the face, you're dead. That's that. Earth 2160 was kinda like that, in that once someone got shot, they died, but it was just really annoying because everyone died all the time, all over the place. Also, yeah, the difference between heroes and regular folk would have to be speed, skill and intelligence, not superhuman-ness.

If I lob of some louts' arms I really don't think that the cuts would be identical...
Anyways, What I think would be interesting is if you could make a game where you played as one character, but you could (somehow) make a fighting style unique to your character.
Kinda like an RPG mixed with a Hack-and-Slash...
