The faction will have to be called Elves then.

Well i like the idea of having a archer and swordsman.

swordsmen could have a two handed blade. like the picture. shields could go with spearman. and longbowers can be spawned at higher level barracks

Men of the East, Dwarves, and Goblins aren't needed IMHO. They can all be adequately represented by summon powers and spots in the different factions.

If it were me (and this would be easiest) I'd have two factions; the Last Alliance and Mordor. The Last Alliance would have the Elves (Sindar and Noldor (Sindar for early-game, Noldor for late-game)) as well as the Men (cheaper, not as heavily-armoured as the Noldor nor as fast as the Sindar. Make up the mid-game units). Dwarves could be shown by a summon, including their King (Durin III, aye?). I'd say leave Ents out...if you included them you'd also need to give Mordor a siege unit, which is what I'd avoid :xcahik_:

Mordor would basically be like the vanilla game, except including all the little baddies you're hell-bent on including ;)

But the Dwarves and goblins are already in. You might as well leave them there. It doesn't really matter though. Two factions would be fun... or maybe two sides with mini factions. I think if MotE aren't in, then Elves and men should be combined. Realistically, I think no-cavalry (or siege) would be best, and spearmen should be stronger vs. normal units. Something like this:

Elven Barracks
Level 1: Lorien Archers, Lorien Warriors, (Basic units aleady in game. Early-game spearmen can come from men)
Level 2: Noldor Warriors, Mirkwood archers, Noldor Archers (Noldor Warriors and Archers are high armor, Mirkwood Archers are higher speed and stealth)
Level 3: Noldor Spearmen (The spearmen should be pretty elite, I think. )

Numenorian Barracks
Level 1: Numenorien Soldiers, Numenorien Spearmen, Numenorien Archers (one of these might go to level 2, idk)
Level 2: some elite infantry unit, or something.
Level 3: Research Banner Carriers (Maybe this would be somewhere else, idk. If so then a stronger unit could go here)
Greetings, community.

Instead of Lorien, it should be Silvan and we need a new model for the Silvan elves. It's better that Goblins and Dwarfs are not in, they could be a summoned power, it's better that way. I don't think the there were Mirkwood Elves on the battle, it was mostly Noldor, Silvan, Arnor, and Gondor. So this would mean also no walls, it's better since they have no siege units and it was all about best infantry.

Firstly, Mirkwood elves are Silvan. It just means wood-elves. And if Thranduil was there, the Mirkwood archers should be, too.

Now this is what we're doing.

Elves and Men will be combined, they will be called the Last Alliance

Mordor will be seperate.

Dwarves will be a summon. No MotE or Goblins, or dwarve faction. Just 3 factions, easy, simple, fast.

Heroes-

Last Alliance:
Isildur
Elendil
Anorian(brother of isildur)
Gil-Galad
Elrond
Thranduil
Celeborn(up to you guys)
Argeleb
(all the other kings of the west that go along with argeleb)

Mordor:
Sauron
Nazguls
Rogash
An orc captain
Mouth of Sauron

Summoned heros:
DurinIV-dwarves
Goblin King(idr his name)

For units-

Last Alliance:

Numenor Barracks LVL1:
Numenor Swordsmen
Numenor Archers

Lvl2:
Numenor Longbowmen
Numenor Spearman

Lvl 3:
Numenor King Guards

Noldor/Silvan Barracks Lvl1:
Noldor Swordsmen
Noldor Archers
Silvan Archers

Lvl2:
Noldor Spearman
Silvan Warriors(w shield and sword)

Lvl 3:
Noldor Longbowmen

heres what the noldor elves should look like:

Regular Noldor Swordsmen
Posted Image

Noldor Spearman:
Posted Image

Noldor Archers:
Posted Image

Numenor/arnor pretty simple. Idk about Silvan, what to do with them

for Mordor:
Lvl 1 barracks:
Orc Horde
Orc Archers

Level 2:
Orc Scouts(toggle sword and bow)
Orc pikeman

Level 3:
Black Orcs
Orc Captain(can only have one spawned at a time)

Maps:
Dagorlad
Mordor/Mount Doom

OK, so how do you wanna do this? I can set up the mod with it's factions and powers but i can't supply the models and skins that we will be using except for Isildur. I'm not a pro at GIMP or Photoshop si i can't do the Palantir/Button images and then there is the maps. Assign each of us a position to work on.

No, i can't do mapping, sorry man but my computer is already slow due to having too many programs. I can do coding, that i can deal with. I can do a bit of skinning but if somebody else is better than they should do it.

Skinners and modelers don't have to be exactly experts cause we will be using most of the Noldor models and textures but they need to know their way around. What about Gfire and you king, Gfire is good on picture editing and so are you. Maybe you guys could give it a go

I think that the best one is "The Host of Khazad"

I think that celeborn should not be in the mod

Why not switch Celeborn with Cirdan? I think it would be better ;)

OK, i go the mod set up with the 2 factions playable, i got the units ready for each faction, i need the models/skins for them. If you want the mod to have a different menu design then PM and i'll tell what you need to send me king.

Rogash?

Why on earth would you have Rohash? ;)

One thing I'll tip you on with heroes...
DON'T overdo it.. Each faction doesn't need loads of heroes ;)

And if I can make a suggestion..

Isildur
Elendil
Anarion
Gil-Galad
Elrond

Sauron
Nazguls (4-5)
Orc captain
Herumor (Haradrim lord)

That is 5 good heroes for the good guys (a couple of elven heroes could be added...), and about 7-8 heroes for Mordor... First off, I really don't think you need 9 Nazguls, and I don't know how many you planned :tiger: But I believe that you don't need them all

Again, these are suggestions, you'll do as you wish :tiger:

Oh, and eh.. you should all find the thing you want to do... If you start a band, you don't assign people to play different things.. They have to do what they like and want to do :lion: If they haven' played any instruments before, then they should try out different, and pick the one they enjoy the most
