History: A traveller by nature Illyriel has traversed all the mapped lands of Arsencia at one time or another, and some others besides. In his journeying he has learnt much of the Elfsong and mastered the use of bow and blade. A generally friendly character, he has over the years befriended members of most species but the Vyre, who disturb him with their unnatural imperviousness to everything thrown at them. Recently, an incursion by a veritable army of bandits into the territory of his home, Elmharrow, cost the lives of both his parents at the hands of a small detachment of Vyre which accompanied the ne'er-do-well humans. They were eventually stopped from reaching the harrow but at a heavy cost to the Wood Elves, and a decade of mourning has been declared in memory of the fallen and all survivors wear a token of black somewhere about their person. These events have caused many of Elmharrow's inhabitants to embark upon a quest of vengeance against the Vyre and all who would associate with them...
