The map of Isengard didn't make any sence, because the trees outside the walls weren't there and the ones inside were, though they really cut the trees down inside the walls first, then the outside.

Plus, the ring of Isengard was huge. Way larger than that of the one in the map, but about the same thickness (or closer). To make that truly accurate, you would have to model the walls to have less curve, and put a bunch of them up. A lot of work.
Greetings, community.

Ok Some people around here have expressed a desire to have Isengard be more true to the film, So heres the rescale project. The walls have been scaled to 2.0 as has Orthanc and the gate. Im using the BFME good campaign map as a base. Thats the Defiled version. I will be doing a pre-defiled version as well. Heres something to wet your appetite:

yayz

How are the underground caverns and such possible? Haven't look myself :evgr: I think they could help out a lot with certain aspects of modding.

The maps initial height is something like 360 so the caverns are just lowered areas with cliff mapped walls, then EA used objects with different scales to imply objects are far down, or close to the surface. The caverns themselves arent accessible, but the holes look good.

Wow this looks really great so far. I hope eventually all the major bases will be scaled correctly in this mod.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

That is great work!

This is a LOVELY initiative NJM and exactly in line with SEE's intentions, as I'm sure you know :p

Having "replicas" of the famous movie sites is really jaw dropping, and your MT map is already a marker in modding history. I'm sure this will follow the same path :p
Keep it up! :D

Is it possible to make some smoke coming out this cavern?
