*looks left* :so:

*looks right* :uh:

humm <_<

There no good site for Generals modding.
GenEdit2k is more of a fan site.
RenEclipse is ok, bit rubish.
Deezire is all of 7 tuts and a forum of unanswerd questions.
Origin Modding is not specific enough for people to use regularly.
(examples my not match actual content)

I'd like to make a site for Generals modding. With the content from OM it would have a good start. If it has a realy good layout i'd be able to advertise it well.
Of corse, i said "I'd like".

If people hosted here helped with mod reviews & previews, news from there mod, maybe some resources and tutorials, then it mght work. I'm not going to start anything without a large team of staff.

I beleve we could make a realy big site, but theres alot of variable to make things dull. I don't want to make a poor site which fails.

Unity is One.

GenDev will help, and I'll be starting to do weekly tutorials for another site, so we can put them here as well.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

hmm...something like the CNCCommunity.net thing but this will be rather a CNCModCommunity site eh?

I like the idea.I can update news on DHS Products and also update on misc things arround the mod community.

It's going to be Generals (or any other games to use the SAGE engine) specific.
Theres no dedicated site to Generals modding, so thats what i hope to create.

I think Origin Modding can already do this service, but GenDev is also a good option... but I dont think you should start a new site.... because the other ones will get abandoned....Maybe you should try improving Generals's contents at Origin Modding..

After all, "Unity is One" :D.

When anyone asks a question it's always nice if there specific. OM is not specific.
This is a down side i did not see when making it.

I've noticed that people realy like things to be specific and dedicated.

GenDev could work, but that might losse it's 'tools' appeal.

More thought is needed.

I think GenDev is the best choice, and we were planning to branch out later anyways ({cool bit removed} ;)2 ). We can change to a more modding site, and adjust things a bit. Our logo still works quite nicely, and we can expand more this way.

Detail, the site doesnt needs to be so specific, but if you give a direct approach to each part of modding for each game, you will make it be as good as a site specific to modding one game... at least, this is my experience with PPM...

I was thinking about this on the bus. Modding is no the only creative thing you can do with a game. There are maps, missions, wallpapers and such.

I had a thought of adding the word "creative" to the banners of HLO and C&CO.

GenDev would be a good place. It saves me making a new layout. However the idea of reviews & previews might not fit with the GenDev feel.

How about we use GenDev for tutorials, but leave Origin as more of a review/preview and such site. That way GenDev would become more a modding info site, and Origin would be a mod info site (not much difference, but...).

Ok, sounds good.
I'll add a new section and copy over all the tutorials.
