Yeah, I'm trying to force (at least) the most obvious abusers I spot to revert it to a maximum height of 200px. There is still a lot of work to do though.
I guess I deserve that slap for not trying hard enough ;)

The ones that really get me, are the ones bigger than the native display on my laptop. When you see shit like that, you realise people really don't get the point >.<

Their point is to show off all of their stuff in such a way that you have to notice it.

Yes, big /slap!

Hosting ran out. I think i might re-make it soon, as i have all the files still.

Does Revora want it?
You'll need someone with php and mysql knowledge to tidy up the admin section, so that anyone can use it; as i admining it mostly through mysql commands.

Agreed . I do that in PPM and I replace problematic signatures with the quote below:

Please, read the signature rules of the forum.

It's already in a no signature.txt on my documents...

It works and the signatures there are much better than here.

I cannot answer that as Revora's representant, but I'm sure it would be interesting for the network. And there are more than enough skilled people here to make a tidy admin section using PHP and mySQL for it.

I don't have any authority either really but i'd say no. It's a cool idea, but better as a stand-alone site. And Revora would not be a good place for it considering the main focus is "Games Modding" anyway. If Revora wanted/needed something like it Gamemod.net would be a lot more than what it is at the moment.

It's still a cool idea though.

Well, the thing is that it's all done, we could just put it under the Revora banner and host it. It wouldn't be that big a deal to do, and I would guess that it wasn't a particularly high traffic website.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |

Man... I disagree with you. Gamemod.net is trash. It is outdated and it has nothing that attracts modders. If we actually replaced that with GamesModding that already has everything and it could simply get a mod hosting section, Revora would be much more attractive to grab mods. Revora always needed a generic modding site and GamesModding is a perfect answer, in my humble opinion. Of course, it is D's site, and such changes would require his approval as well.

No I think you misunderstood me. I wasn't very clear.

I was meaning like if something like this was what Revora needed - Gamemod.net would already be more like GamesModding *was*.

I guess that gamemod.net could foward to his site if everyone wants so, as long as subdomains are not affected, of course.

I think you're all getting bogged down with Names.

- GamesModding.com was a site that listed links to tutorials about modding.

- GameMod.net is a site that hosts projects.

Each site has a very different purpose, but a similar name.

I think i'd keep the domain gamesmodding.com atm, and just give to the files to make a tutorial listing site, then you could name it to anything you felt fitting.

Smart man. It's still a pretty awesome domain.

What i'm trying to say is that Revora pretty much is a Game Modding Network, the whole Creative thing amounts to a couple of blogs and two people writing stories now and again. To create a Games Modding division under Revora is a bit silly. It's like adding an extra layer into an already very confusing cake. Besides Revora still covers C&C, BFME, EAW/UAW and DOW(kinda) as far as modding goes. You'd have to do it so any articles on the above link to that article on the other network sites.

It could work but I think Mastermind's point was best. Have it pretty much seperate from Revora but Networked Bar'D and hosted.

As soon as you try to add it to our current messy divisional hierarchy things are gonna get all capoosh!

Duke, you don't seem to have visited GamesModding.com when it was alive, do you?

It doesn't overlaps other network sites. GamesModding features a link database of tutorials, forums, sites and mods.

Is this messy divisional hierarchy being looked into and solved? or are you just letting it slide?
