That sucks, it could have been worse though. So are the elves going to play as one coherent faction with four minifactions, or will it be four distinct factions that incorperate the others as minifactions?

yeah I've gone to take it this evening 
fixed and without any HD problem.
I am going to start working now. Renders tomorrow or so.
They will be four independent minifactions. You'll be able to choose any of them in the beggining If you don't, you won't be able to do anything: they will be separated, just as if they were four "main factions". The difference is that they'll be smaller than the main factions and that you'll be able to buy those others minifactions during the game.
