Thanks for the clarification on the super-heroes, I can tell for sure the mod is going to rock

As for the AotD idea, it wasnt meant to be taken seriously

10/20PP summons for Gondor, Rohan and Mordor. Isengard can summon the Balrog for a while, but their Super Hero is Saruman, costhing 5000. Mordor's super heroes are the Witch King(5000) and Sauron (20PP). Gondor has Legolas :D and Gandalf, and Rohan the Blue Wizards, and Theoden.

Aragorn is in Gondor :D But I prefer Legolas because:
a) He's Legolas
b) Legolas is cooler then Aragorn
c) Legolas can attack everything
d) He kills everything
e) He's 500 resources cheaper :D

Gimli is the best :D you can't beat dwarves!

The screenies are looking sweet, i love the new leadership glows, they look so much better than a boring golden glow.
A master strategist, such as Zhuge Liang, will be remembered not for his intellect, but for his common sense.

Just to clarify what has already been said:
-Aragorn ($5000) for Gondor
-Gandalf (10 pp spell) for Gondor (once summoned Gandalf is a normal hero)

-Blue Wizards (10 pp spell) for Rohan (once summoned they are normal heroes)

-WitchKing ($5000) for Mordor
-Sauron (20 pp spell) for Mordor (once summoned he is a normal hero)

-Saruman ($5000) for Isengard
-Balrog (20 pp spell) for Isengard ( still has a timer since he is so powerful )

And Gimli ($2500) and Legolas ($3000) are both on Gondor with Aragorn now.

Actually the game is quite balanced. Rohan has recieved new heroes who have replaced Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli (if anyone can truely replace them :xcahik_: ) So don't worry, I've got it all under control :thumbsupsmiley:

Especially since Gandalf comes as a spell summon, and you would have to take time levelling up to ten, and by the time you summoned him, you would have a sufficient number of veteran infantry and heroes and other powers, depending on how you play your cards.

Rohan has a considerably wide range of heroes each offering powerful bonuses to your army, plus the Blue Wizards, elves and ents.

Ah, but Gothmog put in a HeroArmor feature that allows the super-heroes to be quickly taken out by other super-heroes.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

Yep, the super heroes are very strong against normal troops and some of the mini-heroes but any super hero can quickly take out another which balances them out. Also none of the super heroes are invincible or anything like that. The balrog is the hardest to take down since he still has a timer when summoned but Sauron could definately be taken out by troops and heroes if they had plenty of leadership and such. Ideally though you are going to want to use one of your super heroes to take down an enemy super hero... it's the easiest and most effective way.

And yes, once summoned Sauron is a normal hero who can die and revive and such.

So once Sauron and Balrog are summoned, they can revived? Or by the timer on your power points?

The balrog functions just like in normal vanilla bfme: he is summoned, he has a timer, when the timer runs out he goes away, and once the spell is recharged you can summon him again.

Sauron is summoned from the spell but then lives until someone kills him. Once dead he shows up at the citadel as a hero that you can revive for $3000 (and it takes him the normal time to revive: approximately 2 minutes).

Edit: I did it that way because I think the Balrog is great as he is and I didn't want to change him. Sauron however makes more sense as a normal hero, especially since Gandalf and the Blue Wizards were going to be normal heroes (functioning just like I explained above for Sauron).
