I've been here a very very long time now (well, it feels that way for me...) and everything I've asked for here was free of charge.
And guys, seriously, I want to pay you for your hosting services, and I will.

I'm looking for a paid domain aswell from Revora, who shall I then ask? I have no clue who is doing what anymore here.. I miss the old times... :evgr:

Wow We most certainly can set you up with premium hosting. About setting you up though, I believe 2playgames is in charge of that.

Digz is, but we're currently still figuring some things out about hosting. We'll get back to you :evgr:

Buhuu, want it now! :evgr:

I have one question though... two as a matter of fact.

1. Someone PM me the prices (curiosity)

2. Thing is, I only want my http://unknown.gamemod.net replaced with a real domain so it appears like this: mydomain.com/index.php

My hosting (Since January 05') I will pay for by donating via PayPal each year some money (like 150$ now, as a thank you for giving me the space I needed back in 2005)
And then lets say 100 dollars each year for just the domain, starting from december this year? The rest we keep as is (database/space)?

I'll just tag the money through paypal so you know its me.

If that's all you want, you just go and register that domain at a company who does that (I only know GoDaddy, but others will have to testify as to how reliable that one is). You'll probably pay about $7 a year for it, but to them, not to us. Once you have the domain, we can make it so it works with your Revora hosting. That's free.
Of course, if you're that happy with us, feel free to Donate :evgr:

Dude, I'll get the domain fast as f***!

Then, you'll hook me up! I will still pay those 100 each year though.

Dont use any of the top 10 sites. Not trying to down TBG, but look at the actual BBB rating of any of those sites. Most recieved a C-, and a few even an F- rating from the Better Business Bureau. I would recommend two sites in particular depending on your needs; those would be HostGator, and KnownHost, excellent quality and good prices, from my experience. Granted HostGator is actually on the site above, but I recommend it, have used it, and was pleased with it. KnownHost is more for Virtual Private Servers/Dedicated Servers etc, in case you plan on being REALLY active.

You're not looking for a host, because that's Revora. You're looking for a domain name registrar :evgr:

Yeah, but some time ago I believe you offered to do that kind of stuff. Maybe that was in the really early ages. :evgr:

I'm looking for a paid domain aswell from Revora, who shall I then ask?

Dr. Pasidon, P.O. Box 48986. Kokomo, Indiana. I don't accept checks. No refund.

He he he... no no, I'm just a lackey. But wouldn't that be great? He he... but seriously, it's not about money folks. Stay in school and out of strange vans. Love your liberty, not luxury. But it is great you feel the forums need an improvement and are willing to pay from your own pocket to do so. Real generous.

... But wouldn't that of been hilarious? He he... No no... not at all. ... (:D)

Jorg, I've been told gkg.net is a good registrar (though I don't know it myself). You could try registering it there.

When registering a domain, make sure you add exactly these two name servers:

NS1.ICETEX-HOSTING.NET
NS2.ICETEX-HOSTING.NET

I use GoDaddy for all of my domain registering services. Fantastic service, really good support and very, very reliable. Never had a single necessary complaint.

If you don't want all your info public, they offer domain protection but it costs extra. I use and damn is it effective.

I've used 1&1 before, and I have no complaints about it.

I looked into their domain registration features and it includes the private registration that Beowulf mentioned (always nice - besides, I think it's free). You can also set up an email address for the domain; most registrars will offer that, and the price is $7/yr.

GoDaddy is also (as far as I know) a good registrar. I've never used it myself, but a few of my friends have. I don't think they've had any problems with it.

I used to be {AE}Manveru, if that rings a bell.
