As many of you may know, our server is located in the United States of America and unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material is a federal crime. Agents from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and other organizations that combat piracy do watch Revora. Today we've received yet another notification of pirate file located at one of the hostees and we were forced to suspend the account of the user who hosted the file.
So, please, if you intend to transmit copyrighted programs, music, movies, etc to your friends, do not use Revora for this purpose. If we get sued, we won't be able to pay whatever they charge us and the whole network will go down with no backup option for anyone. In short, if you want the network to survive, do not host illegal files in this server.
Thanks in advance,
~ Banshee

Bansh, you need to put this on main news.

No, I'm not insane to do that. Perhaps a mass mail for hosted+, but not the main news.

You should have some new agreement to the hosted that if we as hostees upload illegal material, WE are the ones responsible, not revora.

Well, I think something like that is already there, but it doesn't matter. Unless we start letting people sign contracts for their hosting, I think Mastermind (the server owner) is ultimately responsible for it all.
