History: Astariel was a Paladin for a mere two years before she realized that wiping out other races was part of her task. Knowing this, she left the Paladins, and decided to devote her life to the aid of people who were in need of justice. For that reason only she still carries her sword. Although her grasp of light magic is powerful indeed, she rarely uses it unless she absolutely must, for she believes that enemies should be given a chance to repent, and if they do they should not be slain. This has put her at odds with many of the people she has met along her journey. She travels with her disciple, a former bandit named Byron.

A second paladin for the group eh?

Maybe you could already have met up with Cassius when you join the group, that way both of you can come in at once. Anyway, you have to wait till vort gives you the all clear, but they sounds alright to me.

Basically already approved, and now actually approved. And meeting up with Cassius would indeed provide you with an easy way into the group, given that we need to meet him somewhere along the way too, presumably at the start of Chapter 3.

Excellent. Now then, as a Minotaur without a village, Cassius would be a good charity cause... would he not?

You could always hang out with Varin for a while

Hmmmm... the idea has merit. Astariel might get frustrated with his endless hatred, but it would be good bonding time.
