Yes, we're quite well acquainted with your dragon obsession, although I fail to see how that pertains to Good factions. :p

I don't recall any good-aligned dragons in Tolkien's writings, do you?

No, but is he talking about Tolkien dragons? dzilla simply said dragons beat everything, and Athos said Dragons weren't good. It's plausible that there could be a good dragon.

Maybe 1 out of 100 (or 1000) dragons turn out good in Tolkien's writings. He was saying maybe most of the dragon race was evil, thus they outnumber good ones.

Plus, even good dragons have some greed. Maybe people in Middle Earth only see their greed.

huh, that's a good point. never thought of it like that. The one problem i see with that is that dragons were the offspring of Glaurung, the "father of dragons", who served morgoth, and they are from the same genetic line as Ancalagon the Black, the greatest of morgoth's servants. Point is, dragons were bred for evil, designed for destruction, and built for slaughter. My guess is that if there were good dragons, there would be less than 10 of them in the history of arda, and they would still be highly destructive.

If he wasn't talking about Tolkien dragons, would it have any place in this Tolkien mod? I mean, granted, it might happen anyway, since EHL wanted unicorns, but still, it doesn't pertain at all to good factions.

I doubt any dragons would have become "good". Evil seems to be bred-in, as Rok said.

Ok, if you DO want dragons to appear in this mod, and that wasn't just some kind of joke, go post in the EVIL faction discussion topic, and see if you can get support for their inclusion in a Thangorodrim/Angband faction. Just keep in mind that dragons would happen to be insanely expensive units, and appear as sub-heros (aka, limited production, small-scale battalions), because of balancing issues.
