Thanks for the compliments, Im happy you like my maps. I havent seen any of your work but Im sure your stuff is just as good as mine, as artists we are often most hard on ourselves than anyone else.

Ive finally finished the Amon Hen map:

Posted Image

As a result of production issues Im putting any maps that use new models or geometry work on hold. In short Ill only work on maps that can be finished using Stock WB assets. This way I can finish and release things should I choose.

Thanks, I enjoyed doing this map though at times I got sick of it. Hence the reason I started work on a couple other maps.

The highest form of flattery (in my opinion) is when an artists work is so good it's worth the effort to copy it. Don't despair masterbadeend Ive taken a look at some of your pics of Amon hen and it looks really good to me. You just keep at it and I know you'll strike gold with one of your maps.

It's so nice ! Man would simply like to walk across this wonderfull landscape and enjoy nature ...

Did you backup all this wonderful work and all the other maps you're working on ?
So many great work has been lost recently, loosing this would definitly kill team's moral I believe ;-)

Have today off work, so I get to pound away at this today:

in a lot of ways having to remake a map can allow for many improvements - the over all look of this map I like much better and its 4 player instead of 2.

It looks like it's coming along nicely. Great job. :good:

[off-topic] Judging by the screenshots, it looks like you've had a massive OS upgrade since back then. :p [/off-topic]

It does look that way, LOL. I was running XP on a dual core rig, I just preferred to use classic mode for the overall look. I also had my preferences set for maximum performance. It was an OK computer and could run ultra high settings, but struggled when zooming out on WB. My new one doesn't miss a beat.
