Name: Chiron
Age: One hundred and twenty one
Gender: Male
Race: Vyre
Weapons: His claws and fangs
Height: Four feet, eight inches
Weight: Ninety three pounds
History: Chiron's past is shadowy and few know the whole story, he left his home on the path of a company of what some would call ''adventurers'', he has followed them for awhile and has studied them in combat, biding his time he readies for the prefect moment to strike at his prey. Other Vyre have come to fear him when he is on the hunt, nothing can stand in his way for long and those that do are usually powerful warriors of magi. His superior tracking skills are the only reason he has been able to follow his prey for such an extended duration
Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Um.... There are no vampires in Arsencia. Nor are there werewolves. Nor are there pistols, or indeed gunpowder of any form. Not even fireworks, I'm afraid. Nice as this character is, she is entirely inappropriate for Arsencia in every way. Might I suggest trying again?

How about you use the character you already have. Not like he's gone anywhere...

Sorry to seem so intolerant, but thus far my Arsencia has not featured any dragons, and I'm not intending for it to do so at any point in the foreseeable future. Nowe had dragons, but he also had gods and lots of things, and it got way confusing. And even if there were dragons, I wouldn't recommend making a sword out of their scales. It wouldn't work very well.

If I were Vort, I'd let you swear on your life to dedicate yourself to this RP.
Last time, you kind of turned away, never mentioned any reasons to leave and a month later, you sent a PM that you are quitting.

That was... a week ago, maybe even less. And now you want a new character?

I'm sorry, but as the Dutch say it: That breaks my wooden shoe (I can't follow your way of thinking).
If the above post offended you in any way,
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.

I disappeared for a month as well. Granted, that was because I killed off my character and decided to think up a new one for a while. I actually returned at Vort's request. Otherwise, I might never have returned or it would've happened a lot later...

I'm sorry about what happened but here's the story, I was invited to play the Warhammer free trial and so I did, I liked the game so I kept playing however I became addicted to it and didn't stop playing it for almost a month. I left on vacation in late November and was gone for a week, then I returned and played Warhammer more, after another two weeks or so I got tired of it and came back only to see how much had happened while I was away. Arsencia is not the only RP I'm involved in so after looking at the different ones I'm in I decided to drop the ones I was the least active in, one of them being Arsencia. Now after I've started to become more active I've decided to try again at Arsencia, hopefully this time I won't be stupid and leave without saying something.

Okay, well that's all that sorted. Now on to dealing with your next character application.

Ooh, a Vyre. We haven't had one of those yet. One minor concern: the Vyre have only been properly sentient since the end of Chapter 2, so I guess he can't have been watching his foes for too long. Apart from that, this seems fine. I hope you can think of a decent way to get in with the group. I suggest talking to SWG about that. Zhar is probably the only one of our group who would even consider taking a Vyre around with him. (I'm imagining him being all like "Ooh, a Vyre! Theria, can I keep him? Please? I'll feed him every day and take him for walks and we'll do stuff together and it'll be great!" "Stuff like what?" "Umm... hunting?" :p)
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Well, his prey is none other then the party itself, he has been following them ever since they killed his brother and I'm sure we can find a way to get him into the group. Also, I'm having trouble finding a description of a Vyre's appearance, any help on that would be nice

4-5 feet tall, 80-100 pounds in weight, very slender and almost skeletal, brownish skin, long yellowed claws at the end of fingers, sharp fangs, yellow or green eyes. Does that cover everything?

Wait, so we killed his brother? I guess we have killed a lot of Vyre at various stages, so that's fair. Then again, thinking about it, the Vyre probably wouldn't care about brotherhood. Before they achieved sentience at Shava and Zhar's hands, they lived as a pack, not as families, apart from the few who came to the mainland in search of bigger prey. I doubt superior intelligence would change the habits of a lifetime that quickly, though obviously I have no precedent to set this by. Maybe you could just have him having followed us from the isle (somehow, we were on a boat, after all (unless he was already a mainland Vyre?)) and tracking us down after that?
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

brownish skin

Really? i always pictured them as having quite pale blueish grey sort of skin. Infact if you know what the wraith from stargate look like i imagine them sorta like that*. Although sorta more vampire like with sharp fangs and claws.

And wouldn't you go after someone who killed members of your pack? In the light of their new understanding Vyre would start thinking about stuff they never would have before. Something such as wanting revenge on those who killed their pack members could well be one of these epiphanies.

Dark warden, you should still RP as Cassius. He is your character so you have a certain amount of responsibility/obligation to keep him going even if you are having another new character. It won't have to be a whole lot and your new guy can be your 'main' character, but don't just abandon your other character.

That's answers my question Vort, as for your question about Cassius SWG, I didn't like the way he turned out and he really didn't have any reason to be with you guys.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Maybe we can happen upon Cassius around the Maughold somewhere, and he'll be like "Oh hey you guys, thanks for bringing me down here, but I've got it from here on in. Laters, potaters."

SWG, that's perfectly possible, I suppose. As I said, I have no precedent for how they would react to sudden sentience, so it's all just guesswork. And they have brown leathery skin because they're jungle people. Pale blue wraith-like skin wouldn't do them any favours when hunting in the jungle, would it? Remember, the Vyre used to be just another predator on the isle, until a certain wizard came and messed around with the magic rock we used and accidentally handed them semi-sentience. They are primarily physical creatures, and they have not yet evolved past any of the features that made them the most dangerous predators in the jungle, which includes appropriate skin tone.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.
