Ascension
Type: Skirmish / King of the Hill
Players: 8

Between Middle-Earth and a higher plane of existence, an ancient kingdom is distilled in silence. A sacred stone constructs this palace and has fills the land with a majestic water. It is said whoever stands near the stone taps into its illusive power.

Yea, you probably have no idea what you're looking at in that screenie. Excellent... it'll all make sense eventually. One thing to notice is the reflection.... hmm...

Optical illusion is...optical illusion? You've stacked the towers up to that one it seems. There is no reflection or the little square would have one. That is a dense layer of....something...

Let me guess you've used a smoke plane and hidden the terrain?

Smoke plain? I've never used one. And staking towers is cheap Jim-Jim... don't accuse me of such a thing.

What I can tell you is that it's a massive 4 on 4 map that's easy to build on, but with 7 other players on the field, things are bound to get messy.

You people are probably going to dissect the map on world builder when I get it done. But no... I'll tell ya' what I did and how it creates a beautiful effect, and that's why I did it on a large scale. I'll just hold suspense until I'm done with everything.

I'm going to go with either shallow water, or water which you can fully walk in (in which case you'll encounter difficulties with footstep-splashes!)

To me it either looks like a snow terrain with reflection or ice which is partially transparent.
