Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Bombers + Helis for AF; Simple, B2 Bomber early in the game is pure pain for the enemy. Later on you get the Oni and another bomber which can cause serious problems to any player. You get the A10, the interceptors and the Auroras either way too so NO need to go Jet Fighters. And Helis are a very versatile force that covers all possible situations- Not to mention the Heli re-inforcements multiply the more Pads you build which absolutely ROCKS. And unlike air-fields, the pads take no space at all.
As for VTOL, they just can't stay out there long enough to compare to Helis. The Aurora Spotter is good though!! But it can be worked around by simply building Spotter Tower Defenses out-side the enemy base, covering your dozers with Helis(who receive LPD so even though they are not AA they block attacks). Only weakness is Helix loaded with mini-guns and gattling towers..
For Laser I pick Plasma and Ion, FTW 100% .. Sometimes I'll pick Particles for early SWs with which to hunt down mini SW vehicles(Tank's for example) or destroy defense lines before going in with vehicles. Also nothing can be deadlier than 8-10 APCs loaded with a good mix of infantry if they make it through the enemy's defenses, so the particle helps there too.
