No problem, I know it's not a necessity since your now adding Athens in so it's not a "to-do thing", just a slight suggestion which would be cool to see further down the loine :)

Also will Achillies be in the Peloponessian Wars?

I thought he was around that BC time.

If he will, any chance he could get the Troy Brad Pitt Armor, I really liked that armor.

Achilles was a legendary warrior from Greek mythology and Homer's Ilias, fighting in the mythical Trojan War. The Peloponnesian War(s) happened much, much later (assuming the Trojan War actually happened as legend states it to be) and are historical events that are extensively described by writers who lived during those times.

EDIT: So, no. Achilles won't be in.

Does this mod include the War of the ring type? And if it doesn't, is it planned to be included?

No, and not as far as I know, no.

 .......perhaps later?
I really believe it would be a good thing to add to the game once the factions and maps are finished.

Maybe in the future. There's a lot of more important things to work on before that, though.

Could you implement a method that has a small chance of a storm at sea that sinks your boats?
that would be cool if you could pull that off.

I'm guessing that could happen, in the map you would place a random script of that torando ship spell from that elven boat (unless i was playing another game lol) and if by chance your boat is where the script will happen good byee lol. That would be cool though.

Also will there be blood in this? Or am I thinking of too much 300 here? There was quite a lot of blood in troy as well..

Not that much in Troy that I can recall.. But no, there won't be blood. Our mod is tax heavy enough already, don't need to add to it.

And we won't have any all-sea maps on the open ocean, so I don't see where sea storms would really kick it. We're always near the shore. And if we're not, well then I don't think people would be fond of that happening to them in a game :p

Hallo, I've a few questions about the current mod and about Athens.I know it will take months until the faction is complete, but I'm just curious. I think for now you've done a amazing job, keep up the good work!

1) The first spartan fortress was called temple to ares, but what is the second one exactly?
2) Will the mod have a religous aspect, for example: will you be able to build a temple of athena in the athens faction?
3) Will athens have civilian houses?
4) What is the Athens center exactly,a fortress or a athenian version of gerousia?
5) Will war-ships and fisherboats be produced by the same building?

I don't have the exact name on me right now, but it's essentially a fortress from which the Kings and Generals of Sparta can oversee their people.

2) Will the mod have a religous aspect, for example: will you be able to build a temple of athena in the athens faction?

In a way, yes. The Power Point-fueled Spellbook from the base game is retained, but modified to fit our purposes. In TPW, the players will select one of three paths through which to get "powers", with each one characterized by an ancient Greek deity; Ares (offense), Demeter (economy), or Athena (defense). The powers available through each path reflect the attitudes of the different deities, so in a way they are being worshiped by their subjects.

3) Will athens have civilian houses?

Yes, just like Sparta.

4) What is the Athens center exactly,a fortress or a athenian version of gerousia?

The Athens Civic Center is the counterpart to the Spartan Fortress. Athens will have the Forum/Agora, which is the counterpart to the Spartan Gerousia.

5) Will war-ships and fisherboats be produced by the same building?

Yes. Personally, I'm very excited to be able to detail just how big and different that aspect of gameplay is going to be from the base game. Stay tuned, and thanks for the questions!

I need your advice: one year ago I tried to install to mod, I failed. When the new installer came out figured my computer was to old to make this mod work without problems ( I had this comp for over 6 years). within a few weeks I will replace my old computer with my brothers' (a windows 7-8 he had since 2009).

I fear my version of bfme 2 will be to old to install, so I looked on the internet and found a dozen of websites where you can download the game or patch. Now I'm asking you: What according to you is the most reliable website to download the game and patch 1.06? and Do you have any tips that might aid me when I install the game and mod?

If you download the game, the mod probably won't work.
You need a legal copy with a disk and CD key for it to work.
Do you have these?

I have some questions:
1)do the buildings have moving animations?(= a training hoplite for example)
2)Woudn't be cool to have animations of citizens in the agora, civilian houses and geriousa?
3)I like the idea of civilian houses, but what do they do? Do they produce something?

1. Not yes, but we plan on it. But it's not a priority, as it's very hard work for little gain..
2. Yes, that is the plan, though not in houses.
3. They increase your Commandpoint limit by 100. They aren't as important in the current BETA as they will be in the future though ;)
