Hi i am trying to install this mod but the installer keeps giving me a message that said invalid directory. so i tried changing the directory to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth ™. that did not work so i tried C:\Users\chris\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth Files. still did not work. i am using windows 8 64bit. any help would be awesome.

You could try installing the mod to any random folder, then just copying the files into your "My Battle for Middle-earth Files" folder.

i Did as you sudgested but only the reg game starts. i installed to desktop then copyed to "My Battle for Middle-earth Files" folder. i am pretty new to this. i tryed to follow your instructions. if you could post a for idiots guide that has step by step instructions i would be super gratefull. i have herd nothing but good things about this mod and cant wait to play

Create a new shortcut of your BFME1 launch icon, then make sure the Target field (right click -> properties) looks like this: "D:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth ™\lotrbfme.exe" -mod *nameofmodfile*.big
No fuel left for the pilgrims
