That's an interesting turn of phrase since the lack of shame towards, sex and sexuality has only recently come about thanks the breaking of the chains of repressive, decayed religions that have tried to subjugate and control humanity and its' natural, "God given" animalistic urges. After centuries of religious dominance forcing people to feel dirty, disgusted and ashamed of what is normal and natural, those with an open mind (and full scrotum) are finally able to enjoy the pleasures that life brings.
If you want to remain enslaved by the prohibitive bonds of the dogmatic mindset, that's completely up to you, and we have no right to try to force you out of it. Just know that when you're finally willing to join us here in the 21st century, you will be welcome. Probably.

Difference between me and the robes is that I don't decrease your morality by 50 points for proclaiming your love for smut. I just say it's icky while I turn my head and flail my arms. Well don't listen to my arguments then. Logic and science dictates that attraction is based on a combination of very potent and self-sustaining and consumed chemicals. Take away the agents, or perhaps resist them, then you have no natural attractions. While genetic imprinting also contributes to it (such as you knowing what are strong traits in a good breeding partner), they work in correlation with pheromones and hormones. Well here's a new one for everyone... histocompatability solely relies on being susceptible to these factors. Let me tie this together now... the porn industry relies on people to follow the laws of histocompatability, meaning people need to hold their natural obsessions with breeding. If something foul like The Pasidon is not subject to the cycle, they are able to rationally look at the subject in a different light. It's like a drug addict on the subject of drugs... they're hooked on their drug of choice and take pleasure in using them. No matter how self-destructive it may be, their obsession will force their perspective to defend the subject blindly. Ergo, me being free of subjugation from histocompatability, I rationally see the porn industry a blight to everyone who's primitive enough to fall for it. They take your money to feed an addiction, or give you free stuff to make you want to pay for the premium selection. It is exactly the principles of the drug trade. It promotes neither prosperity or ingenuity. I dare anyone to try and restrain from self-procreation for a good amount of time... perhaps you will become as mighty as Pasidon an find a healthy addiction to the raw power more than the dullness of whatever it is you gain from watching individuals attempt to unsuccessfully impregnate cattle.

I don't like admitting I watch porn (I don't save any, I surf) because idealogically I loathe what porn does to me and other people.

For me, its a necessary evil that I do to increase productivity, otherwise the primitive part of my brain is easily distracted by the sight of smooth skin, long legs, etc. Afterwards I'm able to concentrate perfectly fine.

Thats how I rationalize it at least, If I haven't been in a serious relationship for the last 7 years and am marrying the girl in a few months, I would be one promiscuous individual, My sex drive is literally 1000 times her sexual drive. It's most likey hereditary for me... my dad was sexually active his entire youth "dating every girl in town" says my mom, until he had me at 30yo.

I can see some of your points If I were able to severe all human urges - but no one can unless you were born with far below average levels of hormone.

So either you're a sociopath, assexual, prepubescient, or in denial.

As to my views...

 

RELIGION: Crippling stupidity if it amounts to believing in a wish-fulfilling magical sky-man. Don't want it, don't need it, don't want to be associated with it.

 

DRUGS: Depends on the drug. Let's not generalize. Alcohol is not a favorite. 

 

FAST FOOD: Generally awful, though retains some value because it's cheap and easy.

Yea, I think some people confuse the term 'junk' with 'unhealthy' often.  It's hard not too since the two sound similar.   Junk food refers to consumables that really don't benefit you at all, in terms of nutrition.  Places like Burger King, not really marketing healthy food, offers you food that is filling and offers nutrition, like starches, dairies and proteins.  Lots of proteins.

Not really, it's just not important to me in the grand theme of things. I didn't say I don't like it... especially when I'm thinking of your mom.

Not at all. I'm comfortable with the level of porn on my machine. I realise that my question is really a matter of personal belief and nothing more, but it is going to be interesting to find out what a majority believe.
Porn is something that clogs almost every artery of the internet, yet I don't believe it's something that gets discussed enough with a level of seriousness and open mindedness.

 

 

I'm ok with the amount on my computer...but...I fear that if I meet someone, it's enough to scare her off.   Even if that likelihood is exponentially dropping by the year. 

 

It's been awhile since I've dated anyone, and my last gf was pretty open when it came to porn viewing habits and the like.    But I think even she was surprised by the amount I had stored on the computer at the time.  

 

We broke up only a few months afterwards, and it's always been kind of a lingering question as to whether or not her discovery had a hand in any of that.     Mostly, it was the long-distance that lead to it (and least that's what was easy to assume).

 

Speaking of which...I don't have an exact figure, and I should tally a check, but right off the bat, I'd guess I have > 1.5TB collected since 2005.    And as Caspa pointed out, out of all of that, there's a good handful that are great and hard to find.    I tend to collect it out of habit since I'm paying for the internet service anyhow...streaming content's still not entirely reliable as video-on-demand, and if anything, slowly being wiped away by the encroachment of companies seeking to protect their property rights.   Which in a way, is sad, as history will be lost, and forever unrecovered or lay behind a paywall.    All porn should live free as a sort of historical social document into perpetuity.

Forgive me for asking, but I've never understood what's so great about hentai. It's just some anime characters doing nasty stuff to eachother including tentacle rape, who the hell wants to see that? With some of the porn I've seen you could say I'm a sick fuck as well, but hentai...

 

 

Sometimes the level of exaggeration can end up being...much hotter than the real life thing.     For example...creampies.   Creampies in real life will never be as interesting as the hentai version, where it's literally like watching a geyser explode.
