... And?

"The Hell With Canada"?
Don't be so insulted. Do you not fully understand that article you linked?

"It's not so much having a whole string of agents slinging arms, because that would be a waste of time and money; it's making sure that everybody knows what their roles and responsibilities are, they stay in their lanes, they coordinate, co-operate and share."

Did you think American lawmakers wanted to take "total control" of the border and leave you with none? :wink_new:
The purpose behind this whole thing is merely to point out that we aren't taking enough steps on OUR side to make sure it's secure.

...

Although more security means more headaches for the people near the border.

Businesses on both sides, on the other hand, have complained for years about a "thickening" of the border in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, saying increasing red tape hindered trade and significantly slowed down the free flow of goods and services.

It's an insignificant opinion on an insignificant issue from an insignificant man from a country about which I couldn't care less.

Yes, Canada. A country renowned for its open and unabated hostility towards America, its funding and fostering of enemies of the American people, harbouring of terrorists and an unemployment problem large enough that there is an immigration crisis, with thousands flocking to try to cross the border illegally into the US. Of course the US needs to tighten border controls with them. In the same way it needs to tighten border controls with...oh, Outer fucking Mongolia. And that would be every bit as big a total waste of time, money and effort.

I didn't change anything. I'm not into editing people's posts. Soul I can't believe you'd think I would do that after all my complaining against that sort of stuff. :thumbsupsmiley:

EDIT: in fact that ticks me off that someone changed a title in my blog...

Yes, those liberal Canadians and their Naive border guards. The day we get a terrorist attack on US soil from Canada, they will annex the entire country and then go to war with China and obliterate us all :thumbsupsmiley:

I'd guess taking care of the biggest docks up there and having basic control over the crossings would be fine, although it is probably quite a big border to keep control on every crossing.

Do you two really need to spam me every time I make a post? :thumbsupsmiley:

Matias, you may be a little more annoying, as you seem to follow me around.
But I have to say that being a "Global Moderator" means that Puppet takes the cake on this one. Nice display of maturity.

I was merely trying to -- once again -- point out someone's mistake. And yet you allow your feelings to turn yet ANOTHER topic into your own personal vendetta.

Well ... I'll be the better man and walk away.

I can't say that puppeteer's reply seems to have been aimed at you but more at the character mentioned in the article.

Although I could be wrong and THEY ARE TOTALLY OUT TO GET YOU! (Damn E-terrorists these days, the borders are useless! Your cover has been blown Matias and Puppeteer! or shall I say, Pahid Sheik Poppata and Muhammad Tiamattis!)

No, Ganon's right. He's the better man, and everything is about him.

You'll get used to it after awhile Ganon. One makes a statement and the other parrots and reaffirms it.

What? Not controlling the Northern border? You kiddin' me? We need to stop Canada. What with their cheap medication and free healthcare. We can't let something like SOCIALISM get into the US!

Hehe, I can understand why people emigrated to the US back in the days. One might think Europeans think a bit too highly of themselves at times . I guess the pendulum swings back and forth in who's the best/worst at something, and the US is probably in the wrong end of one of those, for the time being.
