I was bored, so I made some smilies. All by myself.
They're pretty simple, and were easy to make. I tried to stick to the original style we have here, and you can use them if you want. I don't even care about credit. I just figured it would offer more creativity in the use of smilies.

...

I just hope I'm not stepping out of line. (That last one was animated on my end. Hrm, maybe imageshack messed it up.)

Edit: Whoops, maybe I shouldn't have deleted those pics yet.

They look very cool face-wise, but the corners look rather chopped off. If you can make them as round as the original ones, I'll include them.

They're actually very suitable for a Minecraft emoticon since they're... blocky. But the only emoticon I've ever used was .

I just hope I'm not stepping out of line.

Uhm, I'm not sure I get what you mean. Many of them are hybrids of some that we already have. Could I get you to point out which ones?

Edit: Oh, I see the problem. You probably aren't using the T3A skin.
This is how it looks on my end:

I really don't know why that would happen. I used the actual images we have here, and modified the content on the face. I never touched the resolution, or anything.

...

Edit, Edit: Okay, so I downloaded an existing one again. This time while using the default skin. It gave me the dark border around the face, but now I gotta do them all over again.

Here's one done. Posted Image
I'll work on getting the other ones done before too long.

Does the board software support PNG images for emoticons instead of GIF? GIF and it's on/off 1-color transparency instead of proper alpha channel sucks, and pretty much every damn web browser should support PNG at this point.

That, or they'll just got to have sharp edges like the current ones have.

Alright, here they are, all done. They should work with both skins now. I omitted the animated one, as it was too similar to the original.

Can you combine 'mellow' and 'thumbs up'? That one I would use all the time.

New emoticons are common. Stay calm and remain strong.
