A little bit of wee is coming out at the prospect of this game, I must admit.

I've really been anticipating it. I just preordered it yesterday to ensure I retrieve my animal hide map that comes as a bonus. For as big of a game they're creating, I have no idea how they plan to fit it all on one disk. Even Rage had to have 3 disks and it wasn't nearly as big as this seams.

Guhhh... no fair. I have a collection of Best Buy gift cards as my only source of money at the moment, so I had to preorder it there. They won't be having a midnight release... I have to wait until 10:00 AM Friday to get my copy. BUT OF COURSE they have a midnight release of Modern Warfare 3... I just don't understand.

Eh, I never even finished Oblivion. It was okay to run around killing random things and doing random dungeons, but once every thug had glass-armor and flaming swords I kinda got bored.

Might buy it on some steam-sale :good:

No interest at all. I'm sure it'll be a fine game, but I don't care about Skyrim.

Lots of people don't because, like Duke said, Oblivion didn't live up to the hype. Morrowind was F A R superior, and Oblivion did well based on the popularity that was carried over from Morrowind. Oblivion flopped, so that carried popularity died down. Bethesda has come a long way and has admitted the mistakes they made in Oblivion, and how far they've evolved since then. I think the hype that Morrowind had ensured may return in Skyrim.

To be fair, it's almost impossible to 'finish' Oblivion. I've only just re-installed my mod-heavy version. Got to start over since my computer bricked on me when I got to level 7 :p

But I have preordered Skyrim. Unfortunately Batman Arkham City and MW3 are out at more or less the same time. And I have less time than ever to play games. :p

Bad news for me...

Arkham City... MW3... Assassin's Creed: Revelations... Minecraft... Trion... all games coming out this month (almost within the same 2 weeks) that I want and I can only invest in one due to my lack of donkey fuel (money). Luckily I preordered Minecraft 18 months ago.

Checked.

Minecraft has been InDev for a year and a half. Mojang productions will officially release it next week at Minecon, although it will still continue to majorly develop after release. And I forgot to add Metal Gear Solid HD Collection to my list... that should have come out tonight with MW3, actually.

The curse of the holiday season, where statistics tell the big guys that all the sales happen. It wasn't this bad a few years back, I wonder how it will be next year.

More likely to get Arkham City and Zelda if anything. But first I have to play through arkham asylum on my own. Bought that for my brother on christmas two years ago, so its about time someone played through it.

Also, mgs hd sounds promising, I'll have to play through the last one someday as well.

As you say pasi, if Skyrim becomes a good one, then I'll probably play it after some steam-sale.

I'll let you know in 40 hours.

Update:

Oh my lanta'... the Yogscast just had a video of the collector's edition unboxing. It comes with a giant chrome dragon, or some material of the sort. I just want to be the boss of some major corporation just so I can set that giant chrome dragon on the edge and intimidate people.

Currently reading a book, eyeing the clock every so often. Only an hour and a half left before I get to play.

Oh-ho... yes... soooo close... the town I go to for my shopping isn't a big town, but it'll be packed. I best get ready to start my temporary camp outside Best Buy as my base for the next few hours. I have a good chance of being first since it started to snow for the first time this year. I find it fitting for snow to greet me on the eve of Skyrim's release...

Steam's unlocking it at this very moment. It is taking a while, though.

Hurry up, Steam!
