You're not playing it right then.  There's a segregation in Skyrim where people either love it or hate it.  I was one of those who didn't find it all that fun at first, then I got it for PC and caked up the difficulty with a few mods.  Taking your time with the game and making the actual economy function makes the game a spit-throw better.  Give it another try, Ashy.  Not Oblivion... that game was just a bag of bricks.

Seriously you're on for TES Online???
That so-called-game is so cartoonish that makes me want to puke. Also, I hate MMOs. Unless they chagne that shitty MMO Combat system to a more likely to Skyrim - I HATE to press 1, 2 or 3 repetitively - I might take a look just for the story sake.

And yeah, MERP is cool, hopefully they will see the light of the day. It's a hell of a job.

Oh, didn't catch this until now.  Gen, I'll just spank you so you'll get these impure thoughts out of your fragile, beautiful head.  Ya' scrub.  First, there is nothing wrong with 'cartoon'ish'. That being said, I've never really seen anything in the Elder Scrolls series, including ESO, that looks remotely cartoonish. And second, have you seen nothing for ESO?  It's basically Skyrim combat, but a bit better.  You may be in the crowd of people who have a terrible tendency to compare all MMOs to World of Warcraft.  Not going to be anything like that.  This is the 21st century... let's not compare crap to Warcraft anymore.

BIG update... like, an update that should have been thought of 2 years ago.  So yea, Skyrim just updated with two things I'm very happy about:

-Legendary Mode: This is a one-up to the difficulty.  If you thought the max difficulty was too easy, then you can crank it up even further.

-Legendary Skills: If you reach level 100 with a skill, you may 'prestige' it, resetting it back to level 15.  This pretty much removes the level cap on players and you may retrain in certain skills.

This is a really cool update, and may bring people back to the game if they haven't played in awhile.  I really recommend Legendary Mode, as it'll force you to take more time with the game and be able to enjoy the economy and mechanics more.

And more! :

Most of Rock, Paper, Shotgun's view was good.  Except for this:

"Books! – There’s lore! And a fair bit of it, too. It’s still not very good"

Shame on you, RPS...
