Music is done by Ramin Djawadi, the guy behind the soundtrack of Game of thrones.
So that sums up the show setting and the mood.
You could also say the political themes it brings up are very pro-OWS, Every goon out there are somehow tangled up in big-business, and it makes more sense than most other crime-shows in that fashion.
But, the show isn't really attempting to be realistic about itself, its very feng-shui/gun-kata, with obvious logical fallacies at times. It is the grimmer more toned-down version of Human target: It does crazy stuff at times, but the stunts arent that over the top.
Duke's Personal Review puts this show at 8.5/10.
The mood and setting is perfect for me, but the show is very action-oriented and you don't expect someone to die at the tip of a hat, beyond the mooks that come after the good-guys. But it might evolve in a fascinating direction with the Machine and the CIA and the rest, so things are still up in the air. Right now its at episode 16 of 22 for this season, so much can happen until that finale, and then we'll see if they get a second season with more fresh blood.
