I was wondering if a newer beta with the changes so far will be released soon. It will be good to have another AI.

right now that's more in Apocalypse's control. He's been handling the modding lately.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I haven't done any work with AI, which defeats that purpose. I've mostly been working to balance units/buildings etc, which in itself is quite worthwhile (how could you think 1200 dps against aircraft would be in any way fair?)

I've been quite busy with school for the time being, so won't really get back into it until...um....two weeks or so? That's my spring break so I'm hoping (come on dedication!) that I can get a pile of work done on a lot of projects. Also looking to start map making as I don't like most of the ones posted (too many small chokepoints, symmetry, etc). Golden Oasis is a great example of a 4 way free for all map.

I can try and find out how to put up what I have. However I want to check a few things first (specifically why the AI suddenly seems to have lost its will).

So there is a summer of 2012. And I want ask a question "When we will see the new version of this great mod?" I've waiting it for 2 or more years already.

Well, no you haven't. Last release was last summer, and that added a lot. I'm hoping (HOPING, it's an important word here) to have another release by the end of summer. I don't think it'll add a lot content wise, just be a lot of shifting of current things. That's all I'm going to expect at the moment. Mainly, give techs to most the generals to better organize them. That's the main goal. After that is content creation. Also, I'm going to aim for a more polished version thatn .9 was, especially balance wise.

I don't think it's going to happen in the next version, mainly because I don't want to work on AI at the moment. Besides, I want to make a big overhaul on AI anyway so that it plays more realistically, rather than just sending a mob at your base, so that requires some research and planning on my part, beyond the work that actually implementing that would be. I'll keep people updated though.
