Something like The Essential Guide to Warfare looks to be far more promising than this abomination. So far, its done things like give Admiral Ackbar the full name of Gial Ackbar, establish the Whelm to be an Executor-class Star Dreadnought, and introduce the Mandator III-class Star Dreadnought through a named representative, the Panthac.

I bought the book the day it came out and it is pure gold! Of course some will not like certain things and others will but overall it is a must.

The Essential Guide to Warfare has even established some lengths, the Praetor-class Star Battlecruiser is 4,000 m, and the Procurator-class Star Battlecruiser is 2,500 m.
