HTML AND PHP SET UP
To set up a localhost on your computer all you have to do is download a program called XAMPP. You can download it here: http://www.apachefri...g/en/xampp.html
During installation in the XAMPP install options make sure under SERVICE SECTION Apache and MySQL are checked. Then install everything. If when you open it Apache is not running. Click run and if it does not run you will have to do the following steps. If you are running it then skip the spoiler below.



Once apache is running, you will want to open up your web browser and in the navigation bar and type: localhost:80 or localhost:2375 (the 2375 is only for the people who had trouble.) and press enter. An xampp page should come up. You will now want to press security located in the sidebar. Find and click this in the security page and click is (DO NOT CLICK THIS ONE): http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php. You will then want to make a root password. Once that is done close the web browser and go to the xampp folder located in your computers main directory. Once there click htdocs. Make a new folder in there named tutorials. Then open your web browser and type “localhost:80/tutorials” or “localhost:2375/tutorials” and press enter and there you go bookmark that and that is your HTML and PHP storage and testing space. The only other thing you will need is Notepad++. Just Google it. Now you can start learning!
