Is 100% operational for offline tasks (in other words: no download links when new updates are available or download Theme/video add-on packs).
By default it includes the last Ares 0.1 P1 (in reality that old C&C:R version not needed Ares but the program was designed for the incoming C&C:R v1.0).
Is possible to test the mod manager with the old Theme packs, copying the .mix files into the "addons" sub-folder of this program.
Moreover, I included CnCNet support online games throught LAN without the necessity to use XWIS (option to disable not available in this version).
If you have enabled the old 0.99b2 downloaded from the web in the YR folder, disable it with the old Mod manager before using this version because this Mod manager will not understand the old mod versioning system.
The reason of this download test is to know how the Mod manager works on other systems (currently I have tested it in WinXP Home Edition, 32 bits & Win7 Pro, 64 bits). Another interesting thing is to know what happen when the YR version from the official "The First Decade" game pack is used with the mod manager, I have the original CDs but I don't know what files are included when the game is installed by this "The First Decade" so feedback is greatly welcome to improve the TFD support (This program does a backup of every non-official YR file except maps when the mod is enabled & restored when the mod is disabled, can be checked what files are backuped/restored watching the Log Tab or visiting the Backup sub-folder created by the Mod manager).
Because it's a test I haven't done an installer but can be unzipped everywhere (if necessary game/mod routes can be specified in the options tab).
This is the download file.
