Hello all, glad to find SEE back in action !

After seeing PJ's excellent take on Azog in "An Unexpected Journey", I was wondering would the Moria faction's hero be changed at all to more closely match it ? After all, from my understanding, SEE is Nazgul's attempt to capture that movie feel !

Perhaps he could possibly use a scaled down and retextured Sauron model ? (I am no modder, and so excuse my ignorance as I know not how much work would be involved in doing so, that is, if you even wanted to haha).

I just thought that I should bring this up before you fully finish up the Moria Faction. Regardless I will be sure to download SEE-DC !

He's basically a big, white, mean cat without fur.

His heir of Gundabad would look similar to him - I can't recall what is planned for the Goblin heroes but this mod is set during the War of the Ring.

Well looks like njm got here first ha

And as Bofur pointed out, he rides a mount, however in the film it appears to be a wolf (much like the Goblin Wolf Riders you already have implememnted), and not a warg.

P.S. Naz I hope you enjoy the film when you get around to seeing it as much as I did!!!

In the movie they call it a Gundabad Warg. So technically it is a warg, but it is more wolffish than its southern cousins. This actually kind of makes sense. Gundabad and the Isengard-Rohan area are pretty far apart, so there are probably some variation in the wargs from both areas (same with the orcs and trolls).

Wow.... I'm quite surprised how Weta obviously decided to redesign much of their work, for this movie. Azog doesn't really look like a goblin, nor does the Great Goblin. They both look more like trolls or a mix of trolls and uruks. However, I have an idea how to make our Azog resemble this movie version without too much work, assuming my modelers are up for it. Not that I really deem it nescessary for that purpose, but rather that the BFME2 model pretty much sucks.

They made Azog an Orc from Gundabad, instead of a Goblin. The Great Goblin is a Goblin from Goblin Town, who have a different appearance then the ones from Moria, it's the same thing for men; black, white, asian.

I must agree with fredius on all points. Goblins are technically orcs, they are just smaller in stature. The great goblin is the exception.

Actually I just read in lotr wikia (in the article about Goblins) that the Great Goblin could be a fallen Maia who chose an Orc-form :O.

Right... so then Bolg should also technically be an orc, rathern than a goblin? And I know goblins are just lesser orcs (in the movies). But the difference to the great goblin is really huge.

It is also rumored that he was merely injured. And what could possibly be better than having Bolg and Azog injured in the same battle?!

Well, Azog dead for one thing..
