Can the ai use siege towers ,explosive mines and siege ladders?

i want to know if the ai can use the siege tower for mordor or the siege ladders or the explosive mines for isengard? i mean not just move them but use them to attack the enemy walls with units.


If the ai can'tt use them correctly is there any way not complicate to tell the ai how to do it (maybe a mod a script)?

In BFME I, the AI used that well. So it could be possible. I don't have BFME I files now, so I couldn't help you using them. But it's something that could interest me if you find a solution. ;p

Siege towers and ladders are mostly useless in BFME2, so there really is no need for them. The odd exception is of course fortress maps, like Helm's Deep and Minas Tirith.

As for Explosive Mines, they're mostly too powerful compared to BFME1. There you would use them to blow up the gate or walls, not the buildings inside the base. In BFME2, walls can be destroyed in 10 seconds by infantry(!), so the mine isn't very usefull here either.

But it should be possible to get the AI to use them all, but I don't find any arguments for it to be worth it. If you modded the gate and walls to have proper strength, in addition to not being able to be destroyed by infantry, Isengard still has other siege weapons to use.

I use mostly fortress maps..so the fact that the ai use towers or ladders could be interesting for me, i know how to tell to the ai to produce them but..if i tell to the ai to produce them, then it will build them also in non fortress maps?

Probably, unless you make specific ai instructions in those maps. I don't really know how to do all of this, but I know it's very complicated if it's even possible.
