Hello,

I've been having a little issue with my news feed for a while. Basically news topics randomly don't appear in the feed on my site. The subforum is here and my site is here. Sometimes only the oldest post shows up but then I refresh and others appear, but currently the "multiplayer beta" topic isn't showing while the other two are.

Any thoughts?

I've refreshed MasterNews cache and that seems to have fixed the problem.

I don't know if this problem will return. But if it depends on the way MN obtain news, it has a great chance of being fixed forever.

I've noticed that sometimes if it fails to retrieve particular posts, actually going to the forums and viewing that posts rectifies it for a time being at very least. I guess it has to do with the way the newsposts are being cached or something.

Yes that's a known issue. MasterNews was developed when IPB saved the posts as both raw (with BBCode) and processed (HTML) every time. With version 3 or so the processed version is only available in the cache, which obviously isn't meant to be permanent forum-side. That is why you'll have to view the post in the forums for it to show up on the website.
