Hello everybody, I have of lately been playing a lot of this mod but was disappointed (as I am sure many others were) by the fact that the campaign stopped working at Amon-Hen. Well due to my desire to finish the campaign and because I really wanted to play the proper looking Helms Deep I took it upon myself to solve this rather annoying error, luckily after a good while looking at Amon-Hen's map.ini I managed to detect the error correct it and now the campaign seems to work without fault.

Therefore I am pleased to release the following corrected maps (with kwen's permission):

Lothlorien - Added in Haldir and removed Gandalf

Amon-Hen - Removed Gandalf, replaced his audio and corrected map.ini error

Helms Deep - Fixed a few cliff problems and added in Haldir, who then joins Rohans army along with Hamma and Gamling.

Attached File  Fixed MME Campaign Maps.zip   1.62MB   402 downloads These will need to be added into the MME.big to replace the original versions, if you are unaware how to do this just look up a basic tutorial on how to use .big editor.

Here's some screenshots (all Helms Deep bar the last two).

Helms Deep - Fixed a few cliff problems and added in Haldir, who then joins Rohans army (although I haven't verified this yet).

If you need to, i can test and verify it is works ?

Nice work. I won't be playing this myself, but it's things like these that makes this community great!

Thank you for doing this Fudge. I rushed the release and overlooked the campaign maps.

No problem Kwen it was hardly any work plus this mod deserves it even if just so people can play the helms deep map.

That's weird, I just played the campaign again from Moria to Lothlorien to check and I don't get any problems. Who knows why that's happening.

I think it's because Haldir or someone doesn't move into position to disable it ?

I just downloaded this now. I don't think I have tried Massive Middle Earth yet - so I will be quite happy to try this while I have my BfMEI disk in my laptop and after I test Fangorn for Fudge.

P.S. Did you use this for Helms Deep? http://forums.revora...e-2#entry821845

Actually, I just found the picture with what you have got, that looks very interesting, I will be looking at that in Worldbuilder as I have no idea how you made it.

I simply made new models for the taller walls and the ramp with a "fake" hole going through, the units pass through with an invisible postern gate that all units can pass through, both allied and enemy. Then I just raised the entire courtyard to match the now higher walls.

I was in the process of re-scripting the map to double the uruk count and make for a more intense struggle (in my play throughs keeping the deeping wall in tact was near impossible and not having to retreat to the Hornburg was inconceivable.

However re-scripting such a heavy script map provided more bugs then I knew how to resolve at the time so I had to revert to default scripts just with the map changes still in effect.

As for the mod itself, it's more or less "Kwen's Extended-edition" Because it is very much just a Vanilla enhancement and polishing, what with the lack of elves in the release.

Ah, yes. They were missing when I loaded it in Worldbuilder.

And it is nice to try out new things, I am really looking forward to checking your mod out tonight. ;p

Hey just wondering if you guys wouldn't mind making a download file with the MME.big and the fixed maps in it already? I apologize if it requires alot of work but things like that stump me...

I could do it, though I'd need to wait for Kwen's response about uploading it as it might be better if we fix other stuff too. Though if you'd like I can send you copy with them fixed.

I really wish I knew about this earlier. I'm glad to see that my old Amon Hen finally works. Maybe I'll actually be able to test the other maps i put into the campaign now.  (I remade many of the other maps for Kwen for those that don't know)

That would be awesome Spartan 184, how would you prefer to send it to me? If I got it would I have to fix the properties thing again and it will work straight away? Also would I have to restart the campaign? btw played the helms deep in a skirmish (really hard considering the fact only the Rohan heros for the map showed up and the cp was at 100)! Kwen your a freaking GENIUS I love your version of the Hornburg its sort of like the Third Age Total war one but I have perfectionist issues with that one. Also Kwen I made a Helms Deep map of my own and made the defence spot behind the tower would you like me to give it to you and see maybe if you could use it? Or I could just modify the one you made to fit the design from the film?
