Good afternoon T3A:Online players,

As of right now we've added a Replays category to our category system over on the3rdage.net.

Using this tool, anyone can upload their replays and have them easily accessible to the community.

You can download, rate and give comments on each added replay.

To upload your replay, follow these easy steps:

  1. log into the website with your Revora account
  2. upload your replay file here: http://www.the3rdage.net/userfiles
  3. navigate to the replays section
  4. click the Create New Download button
  5. enter the details of your replay and click save
  6. you will now see your newly created replay item
  7. click add reference under the links/downloads header and select add from uploaded files
  8. select your previously uploaded replay file and click save.
  9. publish your replay for everyone to see by clicking the link in the blue bar or the little green light icon above.
  10. DONE

We hope to see your replays there!

Thanks,

The T3A:Online Staff

Also rather than having 2 news posts in 1 day I'll just post it here.

We've had some staff changes here at T3A with myself now the official Leader of the T3A division and Mathijs as the new admin.

Ah cool. I tested the new feature already. ;)

(Is there a way to change your avatar on T3A, I can't find it)

Bofur's right. I still have one of my older avatars on there.

Not that it matters much to me. All my avatars have been awesome.

I think I've fixed it. The forum software changed from "avatar" to "photo" and the T3A site kept loading the old avatar settings.

How do you view the replays? All I get is a .rep file.

In-game I s'pose?

Yes, you go in game and in the multi-player menu or singleplayer menu you click load replays.

You need to download the replay, put it into your replays folder (I think it is usually located in the 'My Battle for Middle Earth files' directory named 'Replays' somwhere along your personal system folders) and then the replay will show up in the replay game menu ingame.

Make sure that the replay was played with the same version you use to watch the replay.

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."
